Um, B? A ram would never challenge another so soon after the other had been in a fight and ambushing isn't a tactic that goennec herds would ever consider for siv matches. X)
lol, you all confuse me with so much typing. X)
Devi had, by now, completely tuned out the rest of the world around him. He'd even forgotten about Forest despite her being so close with her tail brushing comfortingly around his paws and hooves. His mind wandered as he stared blankly at his feet. 'I lost. . . How could I lose? I had him beat, his nose was in the dirt. Maybe I'm just weak. . . I still have Queen and Garnet though, but Blossom, she's so strong. She's going to make and raise such strong and beautiful kids. I wanted them to be mine too. And the herd! What will they think of me? I was beaten by a soldier! A soldier! The Prince and they might still respect me, but a soldier? Maybe I'm not cut out to lead, maybe I should never have taken the position. What will happen if we are attacked? Will I be able to defend my herd or will I be putting them all in danger?' He was sore and laid himself on his side in the cool grass, taking all the tension out of his muscles and joints. Sam's roll had nearly broken one of his legs and he knew he'd be feeling it very soon now. 'At least I'm still in one piece. Though, maybe a broken leg would have been a good thing. No one would expect a ram with a broken leg to win any match and I wouldn't have to worry about Prime responsibilities anymore.'
wow, I haven't posted in forever X3 sorry guys <3
also, please don't post if all you need to say is something ooc. That's what PMs are for~

(Sorry it took me so long)
When the doe addressed sunrise she was unsure what to say at first. Then she remember what she had come over here to say. "Congradulations for getting in a harem." she said shylly uncertain if she had said the wrong thing. She knew that Blossom had been uncomfortable being fought over by the prime and Sam. She didn't know if the doe would be angry with her or not. She hoped she wouldn't but in her old herd plenty of female would get mad if you talked about uncomfortable subjects.

As Sunrise spoke, Blossom's bright purple eyes clouded slightly, not in anger, not in discomfort, but in the fact that she still didn't feel like if she belonged into a harem. True she didn't want Sam on top of her like a jealous stag, but she knew from last year that Sam paid attention to his does from the moment he got them, something he had neglected for her as he jumped at the chance of getting another female, making her feel almost discarded.
Keeping these thoughts in, Blossom gave the little one a warm smile, then licked her between her still growing horns affectionately. "Thank you, Sunrise," she answered, sitting down lightly between Milky Way and Sunrise, her green horns gleaming brightly in the sunlight.
Turning her gaze lightly, she caught sight of Devi, and her ears flattened slightly at how demolished he look. His eyes were dim, and his body hunched, almost as though if he didn't want anyone else to see him. It seemed that for once, the proud stag wished to be invisible. Her immediate anger was gone, and she somewhat wanted to walk over to him to comfort him. Her green hoof gave a tentative step, but she remained put. He will only think I am trying to ridicule him by going near him... she thought, the turned her gaze back to Theorine and Kaze, wanting to distract her mind from the thoughts crossing her mind.

Threonine knew the fight couldn't go on forever. Soon it would have to come to an end, soon, as in the next move or so. When rammed full force by Kaze he found himself pushed back yet again. It was a pattern, he was finding, in which he'd be rammed, fight back, and be rammed again. This sort of thing could go on forever or until one, or both, dropped from exhaustion. Threonine had to admit he was getting rather exhausted. He just wasn't built for long tedious fights. He realized now that he should have been more daring earlier on, he hadn't anticipated that the fight would last so long. Well, now was the time to be reckless, if ever there was one.
The Prince pushed back against Kaze and, feeling the grip slipping anyway, let his head slide downward. He kept resisting though and instead was forced to ram Kaze's underside. If the grey ram reacted to pain at this point and moved back or to the side he could get up and persue again, but if Kaze went down, be it on purpose or not, Threonine knew he would be trapped.

Kaze gritted his teeth as Threonine's sharp navy-hued horns dug into his soft, rime-grey underside. He knew the fight had to end soon it had to...he was getting tired; this was turning into a much longer fight than he first anticipated. The prince of the herd was tough, this was true. Well, he has to be, mused the young ram, He is the prince--but that doesn't mean that he's invincible. Kaze winced as the pain from Threonine's blow shot through him, but he wasn't going to give up now, no. Well, this isn't the best position in the world, Kaze thought to himself, somewhat humorously. But... an idea had come to the lithe ram's mind. The prince, he assumed, was expecting him to either draw back from the impact of his horns, or just collapse completely...which might have worked, due to the pure luck of the ram's strength, but still left him in a somewhat vulnerable position if the blueish ram dodged his attempt. But if he feigned backing up or reacting to the piercing pain, then made a quick move...well, his idea could work. If not, he'd either make an utterly total fool of himself, or come out on top. It was a risk, but he'd be willing to take it. Kaze clenched his teeth from the stabbing pain, then started his "act". He shifted his weight, and lifted a paw as if to take a step backwards from Threonine's blow. Then he reacted, his strategy being put to work. With luck, he would be able to pin the prince, or...well, he'd rather not think of the 'or' factor. Moving quickly, Kaze ducked and swung his head as to hopefully catch Threonine in his horns, while his size played to his advantage. Hoping to somewhat catch the prince by surprise, he reared up and rammed him with his horns, and struck down with his hooves--not to injure the other ram, he wasn't in to pointless violence--but to hopefully knock him to the ground. If his plan worked...he would be able to, with luck, pin the prince and the match would be over. But there was no guarantee his strategy would turn out as planned...he knew that, and he just hoped that somehow, it would work.

Threonine let out a frustrated grunt. Kaze wasn't doing what he'd hoped, and he suddenly realized that what Kaze was doing... Well, it was the last thing the Prince had expected. Rather than side step or go down he went back. Threonine didn't get much of a chance to muse over this though, for the immediate hit came hard. There was no use thrashing about, he was down nearly before he had time to realize it. He hit the ground and let out a slight yelp of surprise as the wind was knocked from him. "Not bad." He admitted with a hoarse chuckle. He had to realize that this was a Siv fight, and that, while he would have loved to have kept going until he dropped dead, it wasn't necessary. Sometimes you've just got to admit defeat, and so he did.

Breathing somewhat hard, Kaze almost grinned a bit at the Prince's response, his friendly nature returning. "So..I guess I win?" he said, with a slight, almost disbelieving laugh. He wasn't being cocky, just being himself...and even though he had hoped to win from the first place, he didn't realize he actually would. This was his first Siv fight, and he was still half not believing his victory; it seemed almost unreal to him. I can't believe it... he thought, I....I just beat the Prince? Shaking his head slightly, he felt a slight feeling of pride and excitement rise inside him at the thought; though not enough to make him go cocky; no...that just wasn't Kaze's personality. The lithe grey ram pushed these thoughts away for a moment, and took a few steps backwards, letting Threonine up from the ground. It was over; the fight was done. Even after beating the prince, he still respected him--the fight was tough, but his determination had helped him come out on top. Turning away, his gaze drifted over to Alaska, and he shifted his front hooves. What if she does hate me now? He thought, then pushed it away. He hoped she wouldn't; Kaze, despite the reason for Siv, still hoped that they could maybe be friends even if she refused--he would never force her into anything. He laughed nervously, then made his way over to the pretty grey and white doe, wondering what she would think, or say. "Well, do you hate me after all of this?" he said, grinning. "Or..." His words trailed off, and he looked the doe into the eyes, his vibrant green locking with her sparkling blue; lost for words. He hoped that maybe, she wouldn't hate him, and perhaps...she would want to start a harem with him. If not, he would never force her into anything, and he would understand; it was her choice. {Sort of had writers block there, sorry. XD; }

Alaska was slightly surprised as the fight between Threonine and Kaze came to an end. It had gone on for quite a time, and she knew it would end soon, but she didn't know who would come out victorious. The Prime and Prince where both beaten today. I wonder if that holds any signifigance, the doe mused to herself as Kaze began to walk towards her. "Hate you?" Alaska asked, slightly confused. Kaze had fought Threonine over her, and had won. He had a natural right to try and claim her, and she couldn't hate him for it. "No, I don't hate you."
Alaska glanced over at Threonine, wincing slightly. He wasn't a bad person, really. She hoped he would find another doe to be in his harem. Being the Prince and all, he probably wouldn't have as much trouble as she had given him from the other does, so Alaska gave a slight smile, silently wishing the ram luck. What's wrong with you? What happened to the cold, feelingless Alaska? The doe wondered about how her feelings had changed since joining this herd, and she hoped they where for the better. Her thoughts came to an abrupt end as she caught the rest of what Kaze was saying trail off, and she looked up at the ram. Her breath caught as she looked into Kaze's intense green eyes, and she found herself staring. "Err..." she began to say, looking away.

Aw, Prime and Prince, both defeated. XD This day is not going well for us, lol. okay, I promised I'd do the skip today, and so I shall. There's been plenty of warning so sorry, if you were in the middle of something, but we just can't wait anymore~ Devi watched as the fight between Kaze and Threonine ended. He was surprised to see the Prince lose, but it made him feel better. Not that he'd wanted to see his right-hand-goey defeated, that much he was sad about, but somehow, seeing another high-ranking goennec defeated healed his pride a bit. He made a mental note to make sure Threonine got a patrol-free night and headed off towards his favorite hill to keep watch for the fast-approaching night.~~~~~~ The Prime stretched and opened one sleepy eye. The sun was just rising, but already, he could feel something different about the day. For the past few weeks, He's been waking up feeling charged and ready to defend his harem, but today, he felt less energetic. 'The siv is drawing to it's end.' He thought, half excited, for it meant there was less and less time for other males to challenge him, but also a bit sad. He'd liked all this rough play, though he figured that was just the testosterone he still had left speaking. Overtime, he'd completely forgiven Sam for the humiliating defeat and he was back to his old self, pride fully restored. He still eye'd Blossom though. He wasn't going to give up on her until he had to. He hoped she'd been eyeing him too. He thought he caught her a time or two, but he was fully aware that his mind could very well be playing tricks on him. Much of his time was spent with his harem. He liked being near them and he was very happy with his choice. They would make wonderful mothers.Forest was happily grazing. Being an early riser, she was alone in the field, but she liked it that way, breakfast in peace. Peace was so hard to come by nowadays, especially this time of year. She had been so worried about Devi and seeing the Prince defeated in the same day as well worried her. She'd feared an attempt at overthrowing the two in their weakened states. She looked up as she saw Devi rise from his sleeping spot. He looked more sleepy than usual and just smiled to herself. She knew the siv was going to end soon. Having lived through so many, she could predict it just as well as any male.Ha! 11:46! I didn't miss my deadline, so nyah~ no fishslap for me

Sunlight hit the dark gray pelt as furry paws stretched and navy horns rose. Sam had just woken up, and he could feel himself excited as he knew it was yet another day of Siv, and another day of more rough fights to please him. He had been very much enjoying Hannie's company, and he seemed to be spending quite a lot of time around her, either hunting or telling stories.
Unconsciously, the large stag had been casting aside one of his harem. He had not realized that the white doe had still not been impregnated by him, and it had not even crossed his mind yet to do so. To the third person's eye, it seemed almost as though if he had lost interest in her. Sadly, poor Sam had not lost his interest, but had merely known this young doe for enough time to see her as a dear friend, and his simple mind could only focus on so much, and Hannie was feisty enough to take up most of this focus. As he looked to his side, he saw Hannie close by, but failed to miss out on the small white body that tended to sleep close by as well.
Sad purple eyes gazed into the soft stream of water as droplets fell from the white muzzle. Blossom had been awake since before dawn, and she had gone on her usual flowering bud hunt, wanting to get them as they were full of the morning dew as she was so fond of. However, not even the succulent buds could distract her mind as she knew that the Siv was coming to an end, and despite her having been won over in the first fight of the season, she still had no chance of conceiving a child.
"Maybe I am so undesirable that not even the stag who wins me wants me..." she told a passing twig that floated with the current, her ears flattened as she realized how ridiculous she looked. Often times she had wondered if she should have taken Devi up on his offer, but she wondered if Sam would have fought for her regardless, and if so, then her situation would not have been so different. A small sigh escaped her as she stared up into the sky, counting down the days to the end of the Siv, and wondering if she would have better luck the year after.

Secretariat sat in the shadow of a large tree, his blue eyes trained on the Prime. He'd woken early and realized just how close he was to losing his chance at some recognition... how close he was to losing Garnet for the year. He simply couldn't have that... though familiar with the feeling of failure, he by no means looked for it and accepted it. He had to fight.
Though honor and pride meant little to him anymore (or so it seemed), he waited until he could feasibly attract attention with his challenge. Garnet's attraction, preferably, though others would work as well. They didn't really matter, after all... not to him, not right then. ((I refuse to RP with myself, so insert this here, in a mix of Cass's and Hatter's colors. Aussie's been fighting NPCs.))

Garnet rolled over, and the sun hit her red fur, making it shine in the morning light. She opened her eyes and peered around, getting to her paws. The morning was beautiful, as was everything underneath the morning sun. She smiled at her optimism and trotted towards a rather juicy looking patch of grass. She bent over to graze, her teeth snapping each single green strand of the grasses in half. She looked up, spotting Sec and Devi within a moment. She watched Sec as he got up, and she swallowed loudly, realizing what he planned. With each waking day of the Siv, he was losing her to the Prime a little bit more. Now, he was seizing the chance to win her, to have his own genes passed on to his offspring. She couldn’t help but smile smugly at the fact two males wanted her, even though she knew she was being selfish. She began to slowly walk towards the Prime, dipping her head respectfully to him. “Good morning, Devarsi,” She said, amusement clear in her voice, “Seems you’re in for another fight, if you’ll turn to look over at that male near the trees.” It was obvious she wasn’t worried at all, but she hoped that she wasn’t being insensitive.
Svartur was up bright and early, ready for the day. While he did not smile, he wasn’t upset at all. He had eaten his fill of grass, and now, as the end of the Siv approached there was sure to be more fights. The thought made him smile in a stupid sort of way, and he trotted into the centre of the meadow where he had a perfect vantage point for any fight.

Threonine streatched and stood up, gazing around thoughtfully for a moment. His pride had been dented a little, but the only sign of it was his increased hours of sleeping. He still held his head high and walked with a purpose, the dissapointment would wear off, and it was, it'd just taken some time.
Now that the Siv was coming to an end he realized just how far behind he'd gotten. He couldn't possibly live with himself if he didn't make some sort of move, otherwise he would have to live with a nonexistant harem. He'd been dissapointed enough at losing to Kaze, when Stargazer had come up to him almost immediately after and announced that she wished to be in Roshan's harem for the season he'd politely told her it was okay. Though it didn't exactly make him happy. Still, his pride wasn't dented enough not to think himself quite something. So he did what was only natural, and headed gleefully over to the other doe who had quite caught his eye, though he hadn't had a chance previously to make an advance.
"Hello Alithea."

Lai roamed by herself not noticing eyes on her. Neither of her suiters had asked for her to join their harem again and she guessed it was just as well because she didn't want to see anyone hurt because of her. She looking around at all the other geos pairing off and sighed, 'Maybe next siv,' she though before settling down to eat some grass by the forest. She looked up when she felt eyes on her once again. It was Talahasi looking and she wondered what he wanted.
role switch.
Tala watched the golden colered ewe who was grazing off by herself. He had been sure that she was jioning Monsoons harem earlier and had been ready or a fight but the geo had not approached her again. 'Perhaps I should ask her now?' he though looking over at the golden female who was now looking at him.

Nixx rolled over to see MilkyWay by his side, still sound asleep, her face peaceful and worry free like it usually is about the winter ahead. Always worrying about the not so soon to be first child, but he would always reassure her. Anyways, he knew she would be waking up soon and she would of course be hungry. The other day he saw good, thick prey by the river so he decided to bound off in the direction where there was thick grass for the meat to hide in. The day was warm and sunny already with a cool breeze that felt soo good on his fur. He neared the river to find a lonely white doe named Blossom. Isn't she with Sam? He was with Hannie, but maybe she just needed some space and was over there earlier. He tried to ignore her, but caught sight of a thoughtful face that showed worry. With his caring personality, he couldn't help but ask. "Is anything the matter?"

Ears perked up as Blossom heard a stag's voice addressing her close by. Her purple eyes turned and she saw Nixx, Milky Way's mate, staring at her. Not wanting to be viewed as weak or seen as the rejected doe she felt like, she forced her face to a beaming smile, her eyes gaining a bit of their normal shine as she got up, hooves clambering against the riverbed pebbles. Green and white strands of her mane swayed with the wind as a small breeze crossed between the two and she shook her head. "I am quite alright, whatever would make you think otherwise?" she asked in a kind, shushed sort of voice, her tail giving a small flick.

He was kind of surprised by her big smile that came from no where. Her expression was totally changed as was her body language, well besides her eyes. They were gaining their glow, but slowly. He knew she was trying to hide how she was, but respected she didn't want him to know she wasn't in a great place right now. "I just saw you looked down, but it must've have just been me. As early as it is and all, I'm still pretty tired." He covered up his concern very well. His voice was truthful and his eyes happy and a little sleepy, but that was how they were before. The sleepy part anyways. "Do you mind if I hunt here?"

"Huh..?" Kaze murmured, blinking open his vivid green eyes sleepily as a thin blade of feathery grass tickled his nose, waking him. Warm sunlight shone down upon him, warming his rime-gray fur as he stretched his paws and hooves, the gentle breeze ruffling his fur. The lithe grey ram knew Siv was coming to an end, but he didn't mind, though he only had a single doe in his harem; and quite possibly the only doe that Siv; Alaska. He felt a feeling of warmth rise inside him at the thought, though it had nothing to do with the pleasantly mild weather. Part of him still couldn't believe that he had defeated the Prince in the first place, though he had no grudge against Threonine, even after the fight; those feelings fade. But even more so, Alaska had accepted his offer, something he didn't think she'd do, though he had hoped so. He really liked the grey and white doe, and despite the reason for Siv, felt as if they could be friends. Kaze looked up as another puff of wind rustled the grasses, stirring him from his thoughts. Looking up, Kaze broke into a smile as he thought of Alaska, and rolled his eyes at himself. What are you doing, you crazy ram? he thought, in somewhat of an amused way. Go find her, already! Kaze took a few steps forward, glancing around for a sign of her among the grasses. "Alaska?" He called, looking around as he spoke.
{Hope that was okay, XD;}

Alaska poked her head up from behind the warm gray rock that she was resting at. Hearing Kaze call her name, she looked around, locating the grey ram at the long grasses not far to her left. Standing, the white and grey doe stretched, lapping up a bit of the water in the small river resting beside her. The river ran through most of the valley, providing water for the herd. A slight breeze ruffled the cream-colored fur around her legs, and she joined Kaze near his resting spot. "Good afternoon," Alaska said, nodding to the ram. She looked up at him, most traces of her past coldness gone from her ice-blue eyes.

Blossom almost sighed in relief. Nixx seemed to be in the belief that his eyes had betrayed him, and this took a small load off her mind, as she didn't want gossip running around the herd of how the floral doe would not be bearing a floral child this Siv. Her eyes clouded for a second as her mind filled with thoughts of a child she would bear, and she wondered if this was the reason Sam had not asked her yet. Does he fear how the child would look? she wondered, her hind paw giving a nervous tap.
As she heard Nixx's next question, she tilted her head in amusement. "Of course not. I was merely sunning myself. I shall leave you to your morning hunt," she answered, bowing her head as she headed off, her white pelt gleaming, evident that she had just rolled around in the stream in one of her regular baths. As she headed out and returned to the herd feeding grounds, she noticed Forest grazing nearby, and her shoulders relaxed as she headed towards the elder, always happy to have her company. "Morning, Forest," she called to the doe in her small voice.
