(I don't hate Kaze, I promise! More like I overdid animalistic. P8 But then again, Threonine can be a bit overdone himself XD)
As MilkyWay was sleeping her thoughts drifted into the dream world, quite peaceful and wondering she felt intrigued by what she saw. For a while it was simply herself sitting alone in a meadow. Such a wonderful scene, so calm. The wind buffeted her fur but not too much, just enough to make the grass move like amber waves. She stared out across it at the horizon, the sun was setting and gentle rays of light were cast into the sky, turning the clouds pink and orange and white with the blue sky behind them.
She stood up and pranced about happily, not at all worried about predators, something she had, before joining the herd, never delt with. As she moved with the wind, she found herself having been joined by Nixx and a smaller shape, both stepping so elegantly it looked as if their feet were flying just above the ground. MilkyWay couldn't quite make out the look of the shape, but she could tell it was a kid, and the kid seemed ready to burst with energy, while she felt ready to burst with joy. Of course, like all other Goennec doe her feelings were of a maternal instinct. She felt like she could fight off anything that came her way, and the nearly pitch black doe tossed her head as if to say, "I dare you all to try and come near! I won't let you!".
But as she moved the sky darkened as night fell. She could still see Nixx and the kid but they seemed to be getting further away. At this point the perspective of the dream switched and she was watching herself float away. It was odd, she didn't seem to struggle as she was carried away, and soon MilkyWay's body merged with the stars, becoming a part of them. "No I won't go!" The MilkyWay constellation tried to yell, but no words came out of her mouth. The starry form ran about in the sky, and seemed to change form, from a Goennec doe into the ram, Aries.
Her eyes flew open and she lay panting, panicked for a moment. But when she saw Nixx laying beside her she seemed to calm down. *He's asleep.* She realized and, not wanting to wake him, lay with her legs folded beneith her like a silent and watchful cat.
Kaze's words caught Threonine off guard. Alaska didn't approve? *Ouch, maybe I have a worse reputation than I thought* "But-" He started to say as Kaze charged back, returning the blow. Threonine, in his hesitation, wasn't quite prepared for such force, and was jolted. In order to keep his balance he was forced to manuver himself backwords towards the others.
With the circumstances he hardly thought about if or not he might run into anyone. The Prince was blinded by hormones, and had no idea that he'd hit Garnet either. Something was buzzing at the back of his mind, but it was like an itch and he pushed it aside for now, "Oh yeah, so you think you're worth so much more huh? You think being bigger makes you better?" He challenged, pushing back now, horn to horn. Threonine always seemed to take every insult as having to do with his height. In truth he wasn't that small, but he felt it and when a larger ram told him off he automatically thought it had something to do with size and had the urge to be defensive.

Kila looked up; grass hanging, unchewed, from her mouth. A loud clash had sounded when the two rams locked horns. She was usally good at predicting the outcomes of fights, but this one seemed near impossible to predict. These rams seemed to be fighting with words as well at horns, and that changed things. A ram could be broken with words, or driven on.
As she watched these rams, her gaze drifted to Alaska; and again she wished she was the one being fought over...that she had been invited to a harem.

{ Oops. X3 I didn't mean to sound like Alaska didn't approve, that was an accident. XD I guess misunderstandings would happen, though, I don't know. Yey. <3 So can Kaze...when he gets into fights, he isn't the friendliest goennec ever. c:} Kaze narrowed his eyes at the Prince of the herd, not caring on ranks, not now. This was a full-blown fight, and he was treating it as such. "No," Kaze growled, glaring at the blue and white-furred ram, in answer to his question. "Height doesn't have anything to do with it." He braced himself against the ground, making sure he had a firm grip, so he wouldn't be caught off guard and lose balance if Threonine tried to pull a trick attack. "What matters in a fight..." he began, his teeth gritted tightly, determination blazing in his vivid green eyes; their emerald irises shining in the glint of the sun. He drew back slightly; hoping to take the other ram by surprise, then rammed into him at full force, turning his head slightly to lessen the shock on himself that vibrated from himself. "What matters," he repeated, "Is strategy!"
Kaze's attitude; when in a fight, was fierce--he rarely fought seriously, mainly just in easygoing playfights. But, when he did, he was tough, and for the fight, ignored ranks. Though he would never purposely hurt or injure anyone, he was determined--and he was serious; he wouldn't go easy if he was fighting for a purpose.

Garnet smiled, blushing. “You really do flatter me, Secretariat. He didn’t mean to, so I guess I will forget it happened and hope he apologizes when he realizes,” She replied, batting her eyelashes. She watched him with her steady brown eyes as he circled her, her expression remaining neutral as he spoke. Her coat twitched as his tail touched it, and she stifled a giggle. “Oh, there are some lovely does in our herd, I’m sure you will find one who you like. As for me, It seems our prime had his eye on me, and so when he asked me to join his harem, I did accept,” She added, stopping herself from giggling uncontrollably. “I still cannot believe that you have no does to call your own yet. It seems ludicrous, to me,” She murmured, watching his hide twitch.

(Yeah, it's meant to be him just misunderstanding 83)
Threonine grunted and side stepped as horns met once again with a loud crack. "Perhaps, but it helps to use the right one!" He felt the force jarr his head a little, but years of practice had been a great help in this area. Although, that had nothing to do with the move not causing a bit of pain.
He had no idea how dedicated Kaze was. For all he knew the greyish ram was just cocky but pretended to hide it until he felt he'd gotten his bate hooked. It was quite likely that at any other time of the year Threonine would have enjoyed Kaze's personality, but as the purpose of the Siv was taking hold very nicely, the blue and white ram simply loathed him at the moment. He backed up and jumped forward to hit Kaze on the offence. This time he got low and aimed up from down, using one front paw (claws sheated) to box at Kaze's ear.

Hannie butted back playfully, grinning as she listened to his challenge. "You're on," she grinned, staring back and pulling her head away as he untangled their horns. She glanced around, curiously looking to see if she could spot any prey before him, but her eyes drew back to Sam's face as it took on a funny look. She was about to ask him if he was ok when he spoke again. She tilted her head to the side slightly, surprised a bit by his actions. "Of course, silly. I'm hungry, lets get started!" she smiled at him, trying to reassure him from whatever was making him look like that. She bounced away, giggling but quickly quieting herself and comfortably fell into her normal hunting technique. Her gaze sharpened, and she gained a sense of awareness that all but radiated from her. She moved without sound and seemed to observe everything, which allowed her to catch sight of the slightest movement of white near the other side of the small field. She didn't acknowledge it immediately, in hopes that Sam wouldn't notice the rabbit either.

Sam wagged his tail, happy to see the female had taken his playful spirit in the right way. He followed after, his own feathered paws dragging low as he sniffed the ground, looking for some prey. He liked this doe. She seemed to have almost as much energy as he did. Even the locking of horns had been met by a good tug from her. He watched her movements, and he had to admit, he was impressed by the good form she had. He refused to be outdone however, and he turned away in a somewhat opposite direction, trying to get something before her. For a second, he even forgot she was a doe and that this was Siv. To him, they were just two goennecs having a good time.

Flinching as Threonine almost bumped into her, Alithea skittered back in order to avoid the two stags' flashing hooves and sharp claws. She didn't feel like being kicked right now, thank you very much; the white-splattered brown doe had gotten somewhat vain during these past few days, and always kept her coat in pristine condition. After all, a doe with a scruffy coat was almost guaranteed to get no mates, no? Instinct told her to be as 'perfect' as possible, and as much as she hated those instincts Alithea abide by them nonetheless. It wasn't her fault; it's just that now, her instincts over-ruled her emotions.
Stopping a few paces before that grazing Goennec --Kira? Kita? Kisa? Something along those lines--her dark green eyes gazed on with interest as the two males clashed horns. Ali hadn't really gotten to see the fight with Sam and Devi up close because of Talahasi bugging her, much to her annoyance, so this was her first actual Siv fight that she got to watch. Well, not first, of course, but the first one while being in this herd.

Hannie nearly chuckled, happy he hadn't seemed to notice her prey, but kept herself quiet for two reasons; so as not to alert him, or scare off the rabbit. She quietly crept forward, wandering around randomly to appear like she was still searching but still steadily making her way towards the patch of fur she still glimpsed. Her eyes darted towards Sam every now and again to see if he was making any progress. The rabbit looked around, and she froze, staying as still as she could; she had learned that with fur colors like hers camouflage was difficult, so the only bet was to stay stock still and hope for the best. The rabbit returned to munching on grass, and she silently continued to creep forward.

As he kept on sniffing, the scent of rabbit filled his nostrils, stronger than the one that overtook the ground in his area. As he followed the scent with his eyes, he realized that Hannie must have also noticed the rabbit, as she was already crouching and heading in the direction the scent was in. He kept to himself, and went the other way, wanting to find another scent, but doubting that they would be so lucky as to find two rabbits in one go. His reluctant attitude had nothing to do with the fact that she was a female however, but with the fact that if he took to the rabbit, it would easily hear or smell two goennecs approaching, making both her and him have no meal for that hunt.

(there's not much to reply to, so yeah. :/ )
Nixx shifted a bit and then felt MilkyWay shifting. His eyes drowsily opened to a bright afternoon, squinting at the 'blinding' light. He looked over to his mate and smiled. He licked her scruffy neck fur down and then looked at her again, "I can't wait for the coming spring."

Kaze's green eyes flashed, determination blazing in their emerald depths. "Well, I guess we'll just have to see who's right!" He challenged, knowing that strategy, not strength, size or any other factor (apart from dedication--that was the most important of all) would be what would really count.
The young grey ram winced slightly as Threonine struck at his ear, and swung his head, his dark grey, almost black horns glinting in the sunlight as they struck a blow towards the blueish ram. Kaze reared up on his hind paws for a moment, lingering as to aim--this move had to be planned to the absolute second; or else it wouldn't be effective. The stormy grey goennec paused for a moment, then struck down with his hooves; not to injure the Prince, but to catch the other ram's horns in his hooves. He had seen Devarsi do this, or a similar technique, in the fight against Sam just a short while earlier; but he had a strategy as to exactly how he would...well, try not to get beaten if Threonine tried to take advantage of his move.
Kaze; though angry--his eyes flaming with determination, would never purposely injure the other goennec. Though the Siv caused almost a hatrid during battles in which the fighting rams would absolutetly loathe eachother--and this, Kaze admitted to himself, he felt at the moment...he knew that in a short while, he (most likely) wouldn't have a problem at all with the Prince, and that the Siv caused these feelings. And just after the fight he would return to his normally carefree, easygoing, friendly laughing self--in fights he was just more serious, but he was still the same goennec. Because of this, he tried not to be blinded by the Siv's hormones, and tried to think realistically; even though during a fight it was, honestly, pretty hard. Another thing the ram tried never to cause purposely-inflicted injuries during these matches, or in any for that matter, in which feelings of resentment seemed to rage--at least, in Siv matches. No, Kaze wasn't perfect--but one thing he tried to do was not let his hormones control his emotions, or angry emotions control his actions; he was still friendly, but more serious and persevering while fighting.
But despite this, it was still a fight, and Kaze was determined. He wouldn't take unneeded measures, that was for sure...but he would still try his best to win.
{Hope this post made sense; if not let me know and I'll rewrite it more....understandably. XD}

Hannie lost sight of the patch of fur for a few moments, but continued steadily; it reappeared a few feet from where it had started. She crept forward, completely concentrated; closer... closer... she was almost on it... The rabbit noticed her when she was about to pounce. It squeaked in terror and scrambled forward, but not quick enough. Hannie lashed out, striking it with her front hooves to stun it. She bit down, shaking her head a little to be more effective. She always tried to kill her prey as quickly as possible, so as not to put it in any more pain then was needed. They were animals too, and deserved at least some respect. She finally felt the rabbit go limp in her mouth, and she turned to see if Sam was having much luck. Hannie had tried to keep everything as quiet as she could so she wouldn't scare anything else away, but things like that always ended up being a little loud. She couldn't tell if he was hunting anything else, but a little smirk lit her face that said "I win" in case he turned and saw her with her prize.

Sam turned as he heard a squeal behind him, noticing it was prey, not predator making the sound. As he did, he saw a Hannie with a contempt look on her face, and he gave her a mock scowl and stamped his paw on the ground. "Looks like I lose. I don't think we will find anything else with the amount of noise that one made," he added, looking a bit more serious at the end. His face brightened up almost immediately afterward as he nodded happily. "Any chance of a pretty doe sharing a rabbit with a silly stag like me?" he asked her, quirking his head to the side as he looked down at her and he batted his eyes in a kiddish fashion.

Threonine's head jerked downwards as he felt the pressure of Kaze's hooves on his horns. His front legs started to buckle under the weight. At this point he didn't bother to try and answer, what more was there to say?
But the last thing he wanted was to go down early. So he let instincts take over, something he always did when he felt trapped or held onto. If he tried to hold Kaze up and free his horns he would get no where and end up having his face rubbed in the dirt. If he backed up his head would just hit the ground faster, so the only thing to do was go forward. He channeled all his energy into his back legs. Then, he pushed forward to hopefully push Kaze backwords and bend his front feet to the point that he'd let go.
"Oh, you're awake!" MilkyWay started to stand up but decided to just sit instead. "Hhm, yeah." She smiled, "I can hardly wait either." She paused, unable to ignore the need to hear gossip and the goings on within the herd any longer, "Would you like to see what the others are doing? I don't mean the fight necessarily, but I'm curious to see who's pairing up with who."

Kaze struggled to continue his grip on Threonine's horns, shifting his hooves as to try and hold on. He had felt the Prince jerk downwards for a moment, and he felt his breath catch slightly, wondering if his strategy would work. No, he thought, knowing otherwise of his idea. Threonine's tough...he's going to retalliate, I know it. This isn't the end of the fight. And sure enough, he was right. ...And, I don't think it'll end for awhile--we both want to win, but who will? With this thought, he felt his determination grow, blazing through him, hoping.
Kaze gasped slightly as Threonine began to push against him, moving forward, and causing him to be pushed backwards. There's no way I'll be able to keep my balance, not like this! He thought, running possible ideas on what to do through his mind. The young grey goennec felt his grip on the other ram's horns loosen as his legs were bent until he was unable to hold on any longer. Making a decision in a matter of moments, Kaze released his hold and, unbalanced, began to stagger for a moment. Whoa... He thought, then decided on a plan. He whipped around as to not be caught off guard....or become unbalanced, and narrowed his eyes slightly, determined. Hoping that his idea would be effective, Kaze leapt towards Threonine, horns down, and tried to aim for the Prince's side, not knowing if he would miss or not. After all...Threonine was a skilled fighter, and Kaze hoped his chances were okay. {Sorry if these posts are fail, I'm kind of on a slight block right now. X3}

Nixx rolled his eyes playfully, "You ewes and your gossip." He smiled and stood to stretch. He noticed how MilkyWay was shaking so much she was about to practically jump into the air. He sat their for a while to stretch her patience. He yawned and then smiled at her. Then he said , "Of course you can!" in a overly cheerful voice that said he was messing with her. Before she left he gave her a "kiss" and went to go find food for them.
He found himself going towards the tall grass behind the Prime's den where it was rich with mice and all kinds of scrumptious rodents, mammals and birds. His mouth was already salivating with the thoughts of juicy smooth meat rubbing against the insides of his cheeks. He snapped out of his trance when he realized he was in the middle of the field. He mentally slapped himself and started to look for some kind of food. He found a few mice, but they were just scurrying into their holes. He was a bit puzzled because he was quiet as ever, but kept going. He turned to noticed he was stepping on rocks in the ground. How could he not have noticed that? Mentally slapping himself again, he kept going, again.
He caught the smell of a rabbit and smiled, seeing the cottontail from where he was at. He stooped own so he was practially against the ground and then pounced, sinking his canines into the soft fur of the bunny.
He trotted to the camp after getting a mouse for MilkyWay for later and started chewing on the rabbit.

Svartur watched the two males fight, and sighed. It seemed like deja vu, watching the same thing happen over and over but with different rams. He smiled at Kila before trotting off...only to see Garnet and another male flirting. His eyes widened, then narrowed in childish rage, and then he began to run off, into the forest, alone. He was blinded by what he thought was love, blinded by the fast changing emotions he had. He did not care that the forest was dangerous, he only wanted to get out of this wretched place quickly. It was then, as he ran, he cried o,ut as the bonds between Garnet and him broke. Tears streaked his face, and he wondered why he felt so strange. Only moments ago he had been smiling, and now he felt as if the world was crashing down.

"Still. There's no excuse for his actions. He should have better aim, he's second only to the Prime." His voice was low and slightly husky, measured to be as seductive and "worthy" as he could get, despite his shorter stature. "And what, may I ask, if I already have? I'll fight for you. No Prime- no bear- could scare me into turning tail. I am no coward." With a light huff, he reared slightly, his front hooves raising a couple of inches from the ground in slight indignation, as if the mere mention of the word "coward" repulsed him. "Bigger males are more visible. Size, though, means nothing."

Threonine felt a spike of relief when Kaze did exactly what he'd hoped for. Now that he was free the Prince was about to take it a notch up. But then the grey male did something he was not expecting. He hadn't counted on a no-pause come back.
Threonine was fast, he had to be, but this time his own confidence betrayed him a little. He leaped forward to dodge Kaze's attack, but it all happened so fast there just wasn't time to get all the way clear. He let out a frustrated and pained sound like a bark as horns clipped his hind. He'd missed a considerable amount of the blow, but it was enough to force him to abandon his previous plan of attack. He kept his hind hooves on the ground as he was hit and lifted up the front part of his body. He refused to give in, and swung his head to the side and back, pushing against Kaze with his head and torso while swinging his horns at the back of Kaze's.
"Thanks Nixx!" MilkyWay started to trot towards the others and looked for a group to join. She stopped suddenly, realizing she didn't know who to go to for an update on the goings on of the herd. She looked around for Stargazer, but her sister was nowhere to be seen. The black doe frowned and her white nose wrinkled in frustration.
As much as she enjoyed the Siv, MilkyWay would be glad when things got back to normal. The way she acted more flirty and how her voice got a significantly higher pitch was starting to annoy her. Normally her voice was a good bit deeper than Stargazers, and she liked the look of surprise her sister generally got when she spoke happily but the pitch was not so, even if the tone was. But for now she'd just have to deal with things as they were, and wait until Spring.
