After he had tried to flirt with her, Lavantia allowed herself to be led over to another strange goe she didn't knw. This one appeared to be older the Monsoon and a female. Monsoon laid the flower at the older Goe feet and greeted her as Forest and told her he had also brought a new comer.
Forest looked on at her out of gentle eyes which put Lavantia at ease. She had asked her name and Lavantia chose to provide it.
"My name is Lavantia mam." she said unsure at first. "But my friends call me Tia."

Her spritely eyes studied him silently as Queen listened to his words weave in and out of her head. She let a soft, pouting frown pull down the corners of her velvet muzzle and she watched him, her dark, liquid eyes absolutely impossible to read.
Abruptly, she shot him a playful grin and flicked her rounded ears forward, catching a more mischief-filled mood this time. "If you say so. Perhaps I shall visit you during this solo watch of yours." Her words held a double meaning that was probably not obvious to the silly, almost foolish Prime, but it would be sometime.
Turning her back to him and shaking her tail absently, she glanced over at her constant companion, absently grinning at him. "Come, Alabaster. Let us take shelter from this oncoming rain." She teased, trotting off of the cliff without leaving another comment with her leader. Behind her, Alabaster dipped his head politely to Devi and followed her, quiet.

Nodding, the slim female flicked her tail in the direction of the trees not far off. "I believe there might be some honey there, I found a nest of stingers yesterday, but wasn't sure how long it had been deserted. I'll go look. Be back soon," she said, slightly bowing to Threonine. Alaska had realized he noticed her coldness, but she wasn't sure how he took it. Still not smiling, but at least sending a nicer message, she turned, her limpossible blue eyes hidden, and she began to trot to the tree-line. Why must you act so foolish? she thought as she made her way to where she last scented honey-sweet smells. I don't know how to act around other Goennecs anymore. Especially not the Prince or Prime. I am a failure.

Devi almost flinched at Queen's abrupt mood change. Though he had to admit, her playful grin was not nearly as discomforting as the sly look she'd been wearing earlier. She seemed to have bought this second lie, but he had his doubts. She had already proved herself to be able to see through an otherwise good lie. He also wasn't sure he liked the idea of her visiting him, especially at night. 'fewer witnesses' he thought to himself. The joke helped calm hm down, which he was grateful for. He did hope that she would be bringing Alabaster at least. A one-on-one encounter would be much too intimate for his taste. He sighed in relief once the two had left the hill. "Alone again at last"
Devi made a note of the relative time. Hoping he could slip away from his post before night fell. The sun was still fairly high up, but noticeably more westward than he liked. He laid down once more in the grass to wait. 'If Threonine would hurry up, I can get him to take this post. I wonder what the issue is. Better not take too much longer' His impatience was showing early as his attention slipped back to the Prince, still conversing by the river it seemed
"Lavantia" Forest let the name roll off her tongue and smiled again "What a pretty name and such a polite doe" She had always liked Monsoon's tastes. "Are you pleased with our herd so far?" She beckoned to the two of them to follow her as she turned to walk along the treeline again, this time in the opposite direction.

Threonine made a face as Aussie pulled out the burrs with his teeth, "Oy, well that does seem to work. Looks a bit painful though." He seemed satisfied that he wasn't needed by the river, and turned to call Alaska back. But she was already gone.
He shifted his front paws, but kept his face blank of emotion. Would it be wrong to just leave? He had to go now though, otherwise he wouldn't be doing his job. His airway constricted a little at the thought of Devi thinking that he was a slacker.
"Glad ya got the burr out, Aussie, I think Alaska's going to bring some honey for your mouth." So he started back, walking until he was out of sight of the river, then breaking into a run. He dodged around trees and leaped over rocks. Obsticles had always made him feel better, he loved the rocky slopes, and somehow thinking of them made him feel that all was perfect, all was calm. He emerged towards the Prime still running, and had to remind himself with a grunt to trot confidently instead, no matter how much he enjoyed running.
He came to a stop a yearling tree length away from the Prime, his head slightly down as if in a bow as he gave a report, "Aussie had a burr stuck to his leg. I thought I smelled blood but he got it out." The Prince was tempted to ask what Queen had Alabaster had said, but thought better of it and waited to be given some sort of order.

As she reached the trees, the slim doe slipped between two overhanging branches that connected together. Her white, fluffy tail disappeared in the tangle of pine, and she padded into a world of calmness.
Alaska had always loved the forest, so serene and peaceful. It had a fresh scent to it, and was almost always cool. The black and white female didn't blend into the foresty green too well, though. Her coat stood out like a ruby in the snow. Snow, she thought. She missed the snowy, cold winds that tore across the water, as she had once sat at the cold springs in her old herd. Alaska shook her head, her eyes un-glazing from her thoughts. Following her nose once more, she located the nest of honey a few tree-lengths away. Bounding gracefully towards it, her paws and hooves made no sound on the floor of pine-sweet needles. The female Goennec poked her nose inside, sure that the nest had been abandoned. Sniffing, she discovered that there was some honey left in the maze of honeycomb. Reaching a paw inside, she broke a few sections of the comb off, keeping a small peice for herself. She loved the taste of honey, and she knew she'd rarely have chances to get as much as now, but she didn't want to take too much.
About twenty minutes later, Alaska had reached the stream where she had last talked to Threonine and Aussie. Looking around, Alaska couldn't spot the Prince nearby, but did see the Goennec who had gotten hurt. "Here, this should help," she said as she gave a peice of the honeycomb to Aussie. "The honey is stuck in there, you'll have to suck it out."

Nixx raced at full speed on his trail, his feathers blew in the wind and danced around him. He glanced around the familiar surroundings, then into the deeper mysterious ones. He looked at the trail he made, slowing. The forest beyond his trail spoke to him and lured him closer. He took a step off the trail, feeling confident. He walked on and once his trail was out of reach, he raced at full speed again, skillfully dodging all the trees and logs in the way. He laughed with excitement and fun, he took one last big leap and landed on rock, he looked up to see a moutain. Nixx was both awestruck and scared, he hadn't realized he went so far out. He let out a cry of distress, hoping someone would hear him.

(Does Nook have to stay a kid forever? Or can he grow up after a bit?)
Nook raced down the hill smiling as the wind swept through his mane. He pranced around in the fields, giggling as the long grass tickled his soft underbelly. The sun was nice and hot on his soft fur and he sent warmth through his body like a wildfire. He lay down, watching the clouds pass and trying to determin what the floffy white things looked like. Some looked like rabits, others like hearts. He sighed happyly, wishing for someone to join him.

(pst, I think it's a litterate role play. 8) Like, it's supposed to have good spelling, grammar, and each post be at least 1 paragraph long) (it is, which means at least a five sentence paragraph. Also, There is one herd at the moment which is currently in a valley. No one is allowed to be outside of the herd unless it is approved of first. Do try to read the setting and current happenings, the RP is only a couple of pages so far. Also, try not to make it too one-on-one, we don't want others' posts to be lost or buried) (no Lunar, he doesn't have to stay young, but try not to make him jump all the way up to full-grown too quickly) (I've deleted the too-short posts as, not only are they considered spam in a lit RP, but they also don't fit with the set-up plus yours Toady, since I deleted the bit you commented on)

[Read the rules for a private RP session. I've also made a warm-up board for those that aren't quite ready to type out full paragraphs. Doesn't mean the setting is different, though.] Aussie watched Threonine go, relieved that no one else was there to see him look like a moron as he continued to rip at the smaller burrs, catching his own leg a couple of times with a sharp cry. He wished he had some sort of dignity, but, alas, the most ridiculous things would get in the way and make him feel like a fool. All of the different ways Celestina could find out about how he was taken down by a few burrs flew through his mind, each one making him feel sicker than the last did. Any relationship with her seemed doomed.
He looked up as Alaska brought the honeycomb, all but one tiny burr gone from his fur. "Thanks. I... erm, I really appreciate it." Wincing as he slurped the honey out, he tended to his wound as fast as possible, just wanting to get the humiliation over with.

[If you can't read this color, highlight it.] The faintest breeze tangled fingers through his mane as Omni stood on a rather distant hill and watched the herd members below him. He had just seconds ago seized control from the personality he shared this body with, and it had taken him an hour or two to venture back to the main herdlands. His pale white figure, overlaid with the softest of grays, was not the marking that caught the most attention. Settled on his shoulders was a set of impressive wings, stretching about eight feet per wing. He rolled back his shoulders, ruffling them, before starting down at a trot to get to company.
In his head, a piercing voice crawled through like slime. Omni resisted the reaction to shiver and merely tried to ignore the physical reaction, not wanting others to think that he was... well, different. "Man, Ommy, can you go no slower, you clumsy oaf?" Caedes' searing words made Omni whimper to himself and he sped up despite the danger of tripping, galloping down the side of the hill. As he finally reached the valley with a whoosh, he stood still, peering around for somebody he recognized. Unfortunately, he saw neither Queen nor Alabaster anywhere, and as they were the only ones he honestly knew... he twitched, embarassed now that he was alone.

Melia quietly hummed a happy little tune as she briskly trotted through the woods surrounding the valley. She kept a fast pace as she hated staying in the woods too long during the day, all the shadows of the trees and whatnot freaked her out. She can just picture one of them jumping out and grabbing her rather small body again. Melia hated the fact that she owned a shadow herself as well, she didn't even trust it fully. Azulli, Melia's bluebird companion, twittered along to the tune Melia was humming while darting back and forth in front of her. "Azulli, what do you suppose we will be doing today?" The bird chirped happily in response, but Melia could get no meaning out of it.
Melia reached the main, lush clearing in a few minutes, not having been deep into the sun-dappled woods in the first place. She was fairly new to the herd and didn't know any of the other Goennecs. For this reason, she decided to keep to herself as she was too shy to introduce herself to any of the others. Melia hopped over to where there was the least amount of shadows. Where it felt safer. She quietly nibbled on the green grass even though she didn't really crave vegetation at all.

"No problem. I hope it helps. I'll be excusing myself now, though," Alaska nodded a brief goodbye to the pained Goennec and trotted off, in the direction of a hill not too far away. Upon it she saw the winged Goennec that resided within the herd. She had never formally met him, and she decided it was time. He sometimes seemed kind of like her, never really entirely fitting in with the herd, though she knew that sometimes his reasons, i.e. his wings, where different. Wanting to look okay to meet this male, Alaska first rolled her coat in the tall, lush green grasses around her, just out of view of the young male. Smoothing down her ruffled, but slightly cleaner pelt, she felt the warming rays of the sun smooth her fur. The sun glinted off her lush fur, black and white joining together to form a pattern across her back and meeting in a mask on her face. It framed her electric blue eyes, and she nodded in satisfaction. She was ready to meet him.
Padding up the hill, her hooves helped her to climb it much quicker than if she had just had paws. Stopping at the top, she turned and slowly approached the white and grey-tinted Goennec. Lost in his eyes for a second, Alaska tore her gaze away and looked behind him at the sky. "Hello, nice to meet you." she said, oddly finding herself nervous for the first time in a while. "My name is Alaska. I haven't seen you around the herd much." She added the last thought with a nod, her liquid eyes now returning to his face.

"Thank you mam, I like what I see so far." Tia answered.
(Ill be referring to her as Tia quite often because Lavantia is to long to keep having to write out. XD)
When the older female beckoned them to follow she followed. Her mother had always taught her to respect her elders. She saw a glint of chestnut in the trees and paused momentarily to see what it was. She saw another Goe with a black horn on its forehead. She was tempted to stare but forest and Monsoon where way ahead of her and they where the only two Goes she knew so far. She trotted to catch up to them and vowed not to get distracted again.

It was the combination of the heady scent of summer grass and Caedes' snicker that made Omni scan around himself once more. The doe was approaching him from a rather nearby location and instantly he ducked his head, completely embarrassed. In his head he prayed over and over again that the pretty girl would completely ignore him and merely walk on. He could not handle speaking to girls, and from the malicious guffaws echoing in his head, it was also obvious to Caedes.
When her greeting reached his ears he swallowed past an enormous lump in his throat. If she thought she was nervous, she should never think of what he was feeling. Flattening his wings to his back to try and hide them as much as possible, he peered up at her with his infamous baby blue eyes, framed underneath with the curled tattoos. "I...Hello." He finally managed out, coaxed by a half-laughing Caedes. The simplistic words drove him to duck his head again, flicking his ears back in worry. She probably thought he was a loser now...
"If you've already messed up you might as well tell her your name." Caedes improved, trying to hide his laughter at his other half's misery. Sluggish to respond, at least he dutifully followed his advice. He lifted his head again, looking at her with embarrassed eyes. Alaska. It was a beautiful name, and he wondered if it was some far off place or cast in another foreign language. "...I'm Omni." He finally managed out, although did not allow himself to hope for her to just ignore his earlier stumble. She would of course walk away again and Omni would probably cede control to Caedes and run away again.

(Sorry Kam...I noticed them, but I didn't think of pointing them out >.<)
Nixx looked at the forest barrier, wondering whether he should go back or venture further. He wished greatly he had enough bravery to go, even his concious urged him forward, but he could only resist and come up with comebacks toward himself on reasons not to go. So his shy self stepped into the forest. He noticed familiar surroundings, even though earlier he was at top speed. He's always been a great observer and noticed the most awkward or random things. Like a trail ants would take thorugh bark or how a twig twisted and turned. He found out where he was at and fluttered his tufts of feathers both on his back and ankles. He smiled softly at himself and sped off. Before he knew it he was in the plains and didn't think of slowing down and slammed into Threonine.

For a second, Alaska let a half smile show through. It had been a long time since the doe had last smiled, but smiles did her features good. Her blue eyes lit up, and before she realized it, her lips twitched upwards in a curve. Realizing she was smiling, she instantly brought the corners of her mouth back down, but her eyes still had a bit of a glow to them. I don't know how, but this Goennec, who I hardly know, got me to smile. This seems... interesting. I can tell he is nervous, though, more so than I am, thought Alaska. As the male offered his name, Alaska nodded, ignoring his stammer, for she knew he would be nervous about that. "Omni... That's a nice name." She said this in a less cool tone than she had used to greet him, and she had already decided he was an okay male. He didn't seem as bullheaded as half the males she had met before.
"I see you are a winged-one," Alaska mentioned slightly, her intense blue eyes softening a tad bit. She looked over her shoulder, checking once more all was safe with the herd. Not like she alone could protect it, but she felt better if she checked. Turning back, the doe let her eyes roam the Goennec in front of her, taking in the little details. His eyes were a very handsome shade of blue, and they where brought out more by little swirls at the corners. His wings where magnificent, gleaming in the light of the sun. They where tipped with a bit of black, and she saw his legs too had some black swirls.

(sorry Minnie, my bad!)
Threonine opened his mouth again to repeat his message in case the Prime hadn't heard him, but suddenly he felt something slam into him. He let out a surprised yelp, tumbling backwords. He sat up slowly, seeing red until his eyes adjusted. Then he realized that he'd actually been seeing feathers. "Uuuuff." He groaned, sitting on his hind legs and using one front paw to rub his face. After a moment of this he seemed to recover, "Nixx! What on earth was that for?"
