((Lazy llama is lazy))
Garnet watched from a little bit away as The Prime, Dew and Forest fussed over Blossom. Though she felt a prick of jealousy, she had to shake it away. She was very irritable at this moment, for the child she carried made her very uncomfortable, but she knew it was wrong to be that way. Garnet was a kind, exciteable doe whom had many, many flaws, but spite was not one of them, or at least, the doe hoped so. She watched with a frown as the fuss turned to despair, then to wonder. What had happened? She knew obviously Blossom's children had been born, but what had made them react in such a way was lost on the rather shallow doe. Curious, she took a few steps forwards to peer in at the two kids. TWO?! She thought to herself as her eyes widened. Why did Blossom have two? Garnet knew that the chances of her having two kids were very low, which made her feel remorse; she would get less attention. Any doe who had two kids at the same time was truely one to pay attention to. Garnet was not that doe. With a small sigh, Garnet decided it was time to play happy, and so she forced herself to smile. "Oh...They're beautiful Blossom..." She murmured, her voice soft, almost a whisper, as she watched on in wonder.

Melia was a lot more cheerful than usual. She even thought she was starting to become more social. With spring on its way and all the little kids, she thought that maybe she would be able to reach out more to her fellow herd members. Thinking of her own young one, Melia felt excited. This was something very new to her, and soon she would have a precious child to look after. I only hope that I can be a good mother to my kid. She thought as she happily munched on some grass. She was near most the others, and had noticed that some of the does had already given birth to their kids. They were so beautiful and healthy. Even Blossom's girl had finally started to move some. Melia smiled and thought of what her child might be like, soon enough she would know.
Basil had not been so lucky this Siv. He had not been able to have a single doe in his non-existent harem. He felt almost ashamed, but he had always known he wasn't going to have one this time around. Taking care of Fade and the added responsibility of taking care of a few does, Basil knew that would have been too much to handle. He stood near the others, but he was more concerned about finding that annoying little fluffball Fade. He had no idea of where the young Goennec had run off to this time. His head turned in every direction possible, but he could not find Fade. Great, I'm going to have to go find him now. Why can't he just stay put? Basil though, displeased.

Devi smiled at Blossom. He didn't really have a say in what the kids were called, but he was happy she'd chosen good names for them. He soon bacame aware that he was no longer needed, in fact, he hadn't been much help to begin with. Moral support perhaps, but ultimately, he had done nothing. He glanced up towards his hill, and seeing no one there, figured it was probably time for him to get back to it, though it was dark now and he was very tired after the stressful evening so he doubted he'd do much herd watching once he got there. "I should be going now Blossom." He whispered, needlessly afraid to disturb the kids. "We should let you three get aquainted."
Endie stood, shaking slightly. She was tired, but she wanted to get a good look at her new kid, a daughter. She had her brown coat and Sam's delicate swirling in a light blue. She was gorgeous. The shy doe's heart swelled with joy and love for her new daughter. She Gently laid herself by the squirming, crying bundle, allowing her to suckle her first meal while she cleaned and groomed the newborn until her coat shone in the brightening moonlight. "My dear Olympia." she cooed lovingly.
Though she knew nothing yet of the world but her hunger, Olympia felt a strong bond with this familiar stranger, a bond she would soon know to be love. As she suckled, she nuzzled into the soft, warm fur of her mother, taking in the scent and commiting the essence of her to memory.

time to introduce Beebie. ~
She climbed over the Frost Mountains, her home that she had once loved dearly, and was now roaming over the neighboring mountain range, the Bear Claw Mountains. She was lucky it was starting to turn to the season of Spring, or else she probably would've been frozen to the ground. Frost was sticking to the ends of her fur and lined the top of her nose. Her canines were chattering and each step was an electric shock on her paws. She wondered what would the new herd, if she ever found one, would look like. Would they live in tall grass, a sweet plain, the forest? How would they treat her? With welcoming arms, or maybe hostility, even after they accepted her into their herd. She was nervous. She couldn't stop thinking about it, but luckily the cold temperatures got her mind off of it a bit. She reached the top of a short peak in the Bear Claw mountain range, and look down to towering trees that blocked her view to beyond them. She growled in annoyance, but trekked forward. Hopefully there would be a herd in the forest, because if there wasn't, she wasn't she what she could do or how far she could go any longer.

As Emma often found herself doing, she began talking to her kid. Though unborn and likely unable to hear her, they were often the only goennec to talk to. Threonine was kind to her, of course, but he was often busy. Though Astarot usually managed to tolerate her, it wasn't at all hard to anger him. Not that she ever actually insulted him. The ram seemed to be set off by even the tiniest of things, most of which she didn't even understand. So, at least for now, the kid was all she had. "Hmm...you're gonna need a name, aren't you little one? How about Timmy? Or maybe..." She was interrupted by a sharp kick in her stomach. "Okay, okay, not Timmy." She whimpered, not quite understanding what was happening. She simply thought that the kid was angry. With this being her first birth and living away from other goennecs most of her life, she wasn't exactly sure what to do. Within minutes a tiny kid was curled up against her side, sound asleep. Clueless as she was, Emma knew that she had done well. The kid was healthy, and as far as she could tell, perfect, absolutely perfect. She had to go show Threonine, he'd be so proud to see her. First, though, came the issue of a name. "Well I guess I can't call you Timmy now, that's a ram's name." Her voice turned softer, lowering almost to a whisper, "You need a name that's as special as you are, something like..." Hearing the sweet sound of her mother's voice, the kid looked up and opened her deep blue eyes. Emma shivered and tried to back away from the kid, suddenly terrified. That one glance was enough to trigger one of her flashbacks, the look her old owner's eyes when she tied the ribbon around her neck. It was the last memory she had of her before Emma left. And now, in her own kid, she saw her again. "...Sarah."

Threonine trotted through the field carrying the bushy red squirrels he'd caught earlier. He seemed pleased, dispite being tired from difficulties fitting sleep into his internal time management plan. Wasn't it all worth it though, just for the possability to pass on his blood line to healthy young Goennecs? He hoped so, it wasn't something the Prince knew much about. He'd at least done better this year than in previous ones. Though he hadn't spent as much of his time with Melia and Emma as he'd have liked, at least he'd been able to bring them food. As he neared a hill and began to ascend it, a scent drifting in the breeze caught his nose and he froze in his tracks. Was it? It must be. He sped up, front paws clawing at the earth and back hooves stomping it as he scrambled up the slope and raced down the other side to where the scent was coming from. *Emma.* He had to stop himself from calling out, it just didn't seem like the right thing to do. He dropped one of the squirrels in a bush and moved forward at a cautious pace with the other, just in case she wanted it. As he approached, Threonine slowed down even more, and sat down about half a body length away, setting the squirrel down as he noticed that Emma was indeed not alone. From where he was, he couldn't see what she seemed to be looking at, but he could guess.

Knowing that the doe was probably tired, Sam looked at his son one last time, his eyes glowing, before turning to look at Kila. "I should probably let you two rest, you must be exhausted. Do try to graze some more before you fall asleep, and come closer to the herd. I would hate to see anything bad happen to either of you," he said, his voice honest and his eyes showing concern. He knew that Kila was not one of the most social does in the herd, but a newborn kid was easy prey for those who fed on goennecs, and birthing season always seemed to attract them.
As he wandered out back into the mists of the herd, his excitement was obvious, and he looked around for Devi, his old friend, to let him know how his first son had just been born. He wanted the whole herd to know, but somehow, Devi always seemed to find out first. As he turned his gaze towards the hill Devi frequented, he realized that Forest and Lu Ten were there, with Dew talking to the elder doe. His ear flicked with curiosity. Well that's weird... Where's Devi? he wondered, noticing the dark mood in which Dew seemed to be in.
Eyes searching for Devi, his mind quickly left Dew and the elders when he spotted a familiar brown pelt by the river, head down drinking water. A wide grin spread on the gray ram's face, and he spread his legs open, readying for a charge. Sam's paws dragged dirt from under them as he shifted them, redying himself for the hit he was about to make. A loud and booming roar escaped him as he ran with all the speed he could muster, and he felt his horns connecting with the bobtailed ram's rear, ending with a splash as the other fell into the stream. "Hiya Prodigy!" he boomed, a wide grin on his face as he looked down at the sopping wet ram. At first, the thoughts that had been going through the small ram's mind had been how difficult it would be to flirt with all the does since they were mostly all pregnant or brand new mothers now. It didn't take very long for those thoughts to change though. It was miraculous too, happening over a span of moments. One second Prodigy was bent over at the stream, dipping his nose into the cool water and sucking up the refreshing liquid, and the next he was head-first in the water up to his ears with a smarting rear end.
A wince escaped him as he glanced behind him with an attempt at an "Oh that was nothing I'm perfectly fine" grin. The eventual result just looked like a sopping wet brown goennec slumped in a stream and grimacing. A rather amusing sight if anything.
"It's nice to see you too Sam," he said, then stumbled back to his legs and waded out of the stream in a wobbly manner, tripping once or twice. Once onto the stream bank he tried to shake the water off himself in a way that the big gray goey would get spattered with water droplets, but his plan didn't work so well, and he was sure that not a single drop of water struck Sam's thick coat. Well, that was an ingenious idea... he thought. Wonder what's gotten him all worked up- Oh yeah! It finally dawned on the small ram: Sam was now a father! No wonder he felt the urge to shove me into the water. Prodigy mused, then beamed a genuine smile up at the bigger ram. "Congratulations on the kid!" he bleated, ears wobbling with excitement for his friend.

Sam's grin shone even brighter as he circled around Prodigy, his hooves giving a happy tap as his circling turned to prancing. "Thank you! First kid of the season too! He's a good looking one too. Takes a lot after his mother," he said, his chest swelling with pride.
His eyes glinted with laughter from his prank still as he sat next to the brown stag, his ears perked up, his long tail curling around his front paws in a rather cat like fashion in his attempt to keep it wet. He looked Prodigy up and down and noticed how he seemed wobbly legged and trembling. His eyes contorted with concern for his friend and his voice turned serious. "You should rest up a little, Pro, you don't look too well," he stated simply, completely oblivious to the fact that the ram's trembles and wobbliness were connected to the fact that he had just pushed him head first into the stream.

As they were walking, Stargazer glanced at Roshan again, and suddenly felt a need to stray away. It was difficult though, because her legs didn't want to move. She grunted in frustration and finally, to her satisfaction, got a move on, half galloping into the cover of some bushes. Panting, head down, it was only a matter of time before there lay at her feet a dark wet creature with tiny white horns and a light mane. Stargazer, doing as instinct commanded, dried the kid off with her tongue until the fur was sleak and soft. "Hm..." She watched the kid as it scrambled to it's feet, making quite a lot of noise butting it's head against her back leg. The kid was female, and Stargazer was a little surprised by the little doe's hungry determination. Surprised, but pleased. Her fur was mostly black, with a white mane and various shades of purple swirled over her back and face, reminding her of Roshan, only darker. "How about a name... " Stargazer thought hard, for she was somewhat unusued to naming things, but when the right name popped into her head, she recognized it immediately, "Echo. That's good, Echo."

Kila nodded to Sam as he left; glad he had given her advice. If he hadn’t, she probably would have forgotten to do either of the things suggested. Stretching her neck to graze, Kila’s tail flicked contentedly. Every few minutes she looked over at Jay, whose attention seemed to be captured either by his surroundings, or filling his belly. After a while, Kila began to herd the small Jay towards the herd; an action that earned angry bleats from the little one.
Jay looked around, the many sights and sounds sending excited shivers down his spine. So many new things to see; many more than wherever he had been before. Soon, a small rumble came from his stomach. Sniffing delicately, Jay found his way to the food he craved. It came from a doe that smelled, at least to the kid, like family. Instinctively he knew Kila was his mother, even if he did not know what a ‘mother’ was. When his source of food started moving, Jay let out an angry bleat; though he followed anyways.

Just as he began the descent down the hill with Stargazer, Roshan froze, feeling something odd. Turning, he saw Stargazer quickly submerge behind a bush. Frowning, the young ram made his way over quickly, getting there in time to see a small purple creature stand up. Roshan smiled, a huge smile, his violet eyes lighting with pride. "She's gorgeous," he began. "Echo... That's a perfectly wonderful name." Coming closer, he nuzzled first Stargazer, and then his newborn baby girl.

((Time skip, woot~))
"Sihir, don't stray too far now," came the young mother's voice, calling to the small green doe that was going a bit further than needed. Blossom couldn't help but smile a bit. The kid had no sign of illness or weakness. In fact, other than her obnoxiously small size, she was in all accounts a perfectly strong and dominating doe. A sigh of content escaped the white doe, watching as the small one gave her an angry bleat and came back, scowling, but quickly turned back to laughter the second her brother had proceeded to attack her. He was a strong one, taking after his father in size, but usually showing a lot more restraint than the girl.
"Careful Ander. Remember she is much smaller," she warned, making the white kid turn his head to agree, only to be tackled down by the smaller one, proceeding to a wrestling contest near the mother. Blossom shook her head, smiling at the antics, grateful that they got along so well. She bent down, grazing on the delicate buds that she so loved in that spot so close to the forest. Many of the kids had already been born, but most of the does kept to themselves. She guessed this was natural, as mothers tended to be overprotective of their young in the first few days, and Blossom was being no exception.
She was however, enjoying having some attention from Devi when he came to visit the kids. She liked his company a lot more than she cared to admit. The kids seemed to love him as well. She giggled at the thought that crossed her mind. Ander constantly trying to eat Devi's goatee whenever he saw him, only to look incredibly annoyed when he realized how horrible it tasted, and looking as though if his father had lied to him about something horrible.

A few days had passed since the initial scare with Blossom's young Sihir, and Alaska was slightly worried. This was something she didn't care to admit to Kaze, or anyone else. The doe was constantly thinking about what might happen if her baby was a stillborn, and she couldn't keep the thoughts from coming.
Sitting out on a long, flat rock in the warm sun, the doe had just had a nice breakfast of large red berries and fresh spring grass. A low thrumming began in her belly, and Alaska frowned. Contractions began rippling down her spine, and she realized what was happening. The baby was coming. After a few long minutes of labor, a small, wet bundle was deposited at Alaska's feet. Licking it's fur the wrong way to help start circulation, the black and white doe nuzzled it closer. "Hello, Typhoon," she said, staring into her baby's bright green eyes.

Cass nudged her young one, having given birth in the middle of the night. Enoch, as she and Hatter had decided to call him, was a weak youngling, barely able to lift himself to her teat. Luckily, his parents had assisted him, and he'd survived his first few hours under Hatter's wide-eyed, vigilant green stare. Speaking of whom, she turned her calm red eyes on his sleeping white form. His mane was even more a mess than usual; a side-effect of having stayed up all night to watch over their kid. No, she couldn't wake him for water. Gently, she nudged their son under his hat and approached the river to drink, then in the field to reconnect with the herd a bit- she lacked Hatter's ability to satisfy the herd mentality by sticking to the outskirts, after all.
((Approach her as you may. c: I felt I needed to get Enoch's birth in there somewhere.))
Katili, too, was near the river, digging a hole in the bank. Spiteful? Her? Absolutely not. She kicked a small stick away with one of her back paws, her hooves digging furiously into the wet clay-dirt mix of the bank. It mattered not that her mane and elbow feathering were getting dirty almost to the point of no return. Heavens, no; her appearance was the least of her problems. No, she wanted some sort of revenge. Satisfaction. With a grunt, she began completing her trap, almost slipping into it herself.
This was going to get interesting, if she could make it work.

Weak knees almost gave way under the spotted doe's body, but she caught herself just in time, unwilling to fall, unwilling to fulfill the last order she had been given. How long had it been since she had last fed on anything other than grass? How long had it been since she had seen another goennec? Possibly a couple of days, but to her, it felt like a lifetime. Not even a lifetime seemed to be able to recover the empty feeling inside her, the feeling of uselessness, of having had her child murdered in front of her eyes, not for food by a predator, but from spite due to it being less than perfect by the prime of her old herd, the father of her child.
Her paws and hooves continued along the border of the stream she had been following since she had been kicked out of her herd. So far, she had not seen any sign of goennecs, not till now. A familiar smell filled her nostrils, a scent as familiar and as strange as could get. A herd was nearby, and her ears now perked up, the possibility of surviving this ordeal finally upon her. She shook her body, trying to rid herself of some of the dust that covered her fur, knowing that being on the run had made her unable of properly caring for herself, and hoping that despite this, she would be able to be able to make a decent enough impression for the Prime to look past this and consider her to at least join the does of the herd.

Riall bounced over to the stream to stare at. Not to get water, but to stare at. She noticed another goennec in the water she stared at it and tilted her head to the left. Strangely enough, so did it. She gasped, she looked around and then back to the strange little kid in the water. She just barely caught it looking around, too. She narrowed her eyes at it, and in return it narrowed it's eyes back. She growled and snarled at it, thinking it was making fun of her, "Momma! This little 'ol goennec in the water is copying me!"
[i'm gonna have fun with Riall. i can already tell. :3]
Beebie slowly descended the range, entering the green forest with wobbly legs. It was still cold, but not as much as the peak of the mountains. Just the thought of going through that sent chills down her back... She stopped at the sound of another soul nearby, treading through the thick leaves and brush just as she was. She looked where the sound was coming from and she swore she saw the faintest bit of white through the lush spring leaves. Putting on all of her defenses, she cautiously stepped forward through the brush to see a goennec about her size with a short tail (she hadn't seen one of those, so it looked odd). Softly, she spoke, "Hi."

"What are you doing now?" Kila asked the kid trailing behind her, not able to keep from feeling amused. Without waiting for a reply she continued walking. Soon Kila reached her destination, a place where the best grass; in her opinion, grew. Looking behind her she saw that Jay was close, and gave him an approving lick. "You can play for a bit, but don't go to far," Kila said, watching with a smile as he scrambled a few feet a way, jumping through the taller grasses. She didn't understand how such a small body could hold so much energy.
Kapira walked towards the river, watching the kids interacting with the does. It was something she usually restrained from doing, because it left her feeling very different and alone. She didn't know if any other does weren't pregnant, but she doubted it. Kapira reached the river, bending down to lap at the clear water. A light breeze ruffled her fur, and with that came a scent of a strage Goennec. Kapira lifted her head in the direction the wind was coming from, but did not see anyone. Resuming her drinking, she wondered if she was going crazy.

A moving of the thicket surprised the doe, and she moved closer to the water, thinking she may have to spring away, hoping this wasn't the case, as she was weak and would probably be unable to fend off any attackers. What came out of the bushes surprised her however, and her ears perked up as she tilted her head curiously. Another doe, one with the wildest colors she had ever seen, stepped out to the open ground. She sighed, relief clear in her eyes. She stomped the ground in front of her in a formal greeting, wanting to seem friendly, when suddenly, it hit her.
This doe... she just spoke... But why? Isn't she worried that the rams will hear her?
This thought in her mind, she sniffed the doe warily. She smelled different to the smell this herd had on it. The herd smelled of grass, river and flowers, while this one had a strong smell of dry, mountainous air. She wanted to say hello as well, but the words would not come out, not freely, as she was not allowed to speak, and despite herself, she just couldn't bring herself to break from the code she so wanted to rid herself of. Instead, she kept staring at the stranger curiously, wondering if she was just as lost as she was.

Beebie was a bit cautious now, only because she seemed a bit skittish and hadn't even spoken yet. She wondered if this doe was from around here, and almost asked her, but after noticing her smell compared to the scent of this forest, she wasn't. There was a long awkward moment between them, but being Beebie, she broke it. "I'm Beebie."
