His eyes glinted as she smirked her threat at him, and he wagged his tail, following her and walking by her side. As she bent down to graze, he imitated, nibbling on the green leaves, his eyes closed as he savored the taste of his breakfast. As his mind wandered, he realized he had been having her hunt every day since she had joined his harem, and not only her, but Blossom too. Come to think of it... I haven't really seen if Blossom has been getting any meat down lately at all. I know how much she favors grazing over hunting.

Sam's face twisted to a worried frown. He gulped down the last bit of clovers he had just chewed, and turned to face Hannie. "I'll make it up to you. I'll go hunting for you today, and you can sit back and relax. Maybe even catch up with some friends. Whadaya say?" he asked, his mouth a smile, but the worried gleam in his eyes still evident as he worried about the floral patterned doe.

He laughed at the thought of hairless, wrinkly goennecs, "I'm sure we'd all be ugly without hair and our manes. We'd look like mice with horns!" He laughed harder, then smoothly stopped, "Your black hair accents your white parts of you, makes you mysterious and beautiful with a great personality that I fell in love with." He started her down for a while..

"Our child will be beautiful with a pristine mother like you, and I would be delighted if it is the first born." He said.

Threonine stopped to watch her take a drink, and caught himself staring. He took a breath of the fresh morning air, it was relaxing, which surprised him a little.
He decided that now was as good a time as any to go ahead and ask the question.

"Alithea... Would you be willing to join my harem?"

MilkyWay grinned, "You mean pinkey mice? Those hideous things, only snakes and frogs would eat one!" She felt hot under her fur, "Thank you, you know, your red fur is wonderfully elegant too."

Hannie glanced at Sam as she continued grazing, a little surprised at his sudden offer. "Um, sure," she agreed, smiling a little, touched. Her mind wandered, thinking of all the Goennecs in the herd; she had had small conversation with a few, but she realized she barely knew anyone else's names. Kila was her only rather close friend, and she realized she hadn't really talked to her since joining Sam's harem. I should find her, she decided, also determined not to revert back to her habit of wandering into the woods alone for hours on end.

Devi was so caught up in listening to Blossom and Forest, that he almost didn't hear Garnet excuse herself. He watched as the auburn Goennec hurry away.
"I wonder why she's so nervous." He murmured to himself. 'Blossom and I have nothing bad between us. I do wish I'd been able to win her over, but . . .' he trailed off, not sure what to think.
He was suddenly aware that he was now alone. His ears burned with embarrassment, but he figured it was now or never and took a couple timid steps towards the other two does. He was too nervous to say anything, so he simply stood dumbly there, waiting to see if they would notice.

"Really now?" Forest was impressed. She'd never been good with flower lore, but it was something she enjoyed hearing about. "I must remember to eat more of them then, an old goat like me needs as much happiness as she can get. Although, I'm not sure what I'll do with all the faith." She laughed, forgetting for a moment why she'd brought them here. When she looked again, Devi was alone, standing, staring at them and she smiled.
She flicked her tail against Blossom's attempting to alert her to the visitor.

Lu Ten was taken aback a bit. the strangers tone betrayed some sort of annoyance, but he could tell it was not directed at himself.
"I am sorry, good sir. I apologize for bothering you."
He was set more at ease with the second stranger, a doe.
"I am Lu Ten." He said charmingly. "And who might you be? Surely your name must be as gorgeous as your coat." He bowed slightly, showing her the courtesy he believes a young doe deserves.

Blossom laughed at the elder's last words, then heard some footsteps and noticed Forest flicking her tail. As she looked up, she noticed Devi next to them, and her ears grew hot with awkwardness. What am I supposed to do? He looks so... out of place... She felt very self aware all of a sudden, of how she hadn't properly taken care of herself lately, moping around and dragging herself on the dirt. She shook her head, trying to get past this, not understanding why this would even matter.

She turned her purple eyes on Devi, and she gave a small bow. "Morning, De- Prime," she said, catching herself in the nick of time. "Care to join us?" she asked, glancing at Forest for some support.

Devi's pressed his ears flat against his neck attempting to hide the flush of red in them.
"G'morning Blossom . . ." He stammered. "You don't have to call me Prime . . . . It's informal." He finished shyly. He looked over to Forest, wondering if she had something to do with this.

Forest nodded a greeting to the Prime, then turned and feigned grazing to give the two privacy. She laughed to herself, knowing that this would be an entertaining discussion. She snapped a dandelion from its root and munched away, ears tuned into the conversation.

Blossom's ears flattened in embarrassment as well, and she turned her face to the ground, her eyes shifting as she realized that the Prime had just given her quite a liberty, allowing her to call him by his name. "Alright then... Devi..." she said just as shyly, her eyes turning up to look at his. She looked away quickly enough and turned to chew a dandelion, her tail flicking slightly as she mentally cursed at herself. She wished to speak to him, to ask him how he was, but somehow, she just couldn't bring herself to talk to him. Not something strange in her, as she tended to avoid conversation, but this was mostly because she did not enjoy it with most.

Her gaze turned to Forest for help, but she realized that the elder had turned away from the conversation, and had left them two alone. She cleared her throat after she swallowed her mouthful, and turned to Devi again. "How has Harem life been treating you?" she asked, knowing this would probably please him, as he seemed very happy with his does.

Lavi awoke from their short nap and wandered away, she didn't know how to feel about the deer patterned geo now but she knew it was possible that she would be having kids by him. She had not known that that would happen this siv as it appeared the none of the geos besides him and Monsoon had been interested. She saw forest and began walking over there, she knew that if anyone could give her advise it was the elder geo.

Sec moved into Suave Ram Mode with Garnet sitting next to him, flirtatiously brushing her with his tail. Perhaps an odd move on his part, but somewhat understandable with his lack of experience, relationship-wise. Though his eyes remained on Devi determinedly, he wasn't fool enough to pass up on a chance to attempt to woo his target ewe. "No harm done," He murmured to Lu Ten.
Tilting his head lightly to the side, he then referred to his other companion. "How are you today, beautiful Garnet?"

Garnet grinned at Lu Ten, and almost immediately any inhibitions she had when approaching the ram. "Why thank you.." She murmured. She smiled and shivered ever so slightly as the feeling of Sec's tail touching her back took affect. She looked down and blushed, though it wasnt visible through her auburn fur. "I'm quite well, how about you?" She asked the ram. She looked back up at Lu Ten again, her big brown eyes filled with a friendly warmth. "I believe Secretariat has answered your question for me," She told him with a soft chuckle, "The name is Garnet." She felt the warmth of the sun touched her fur, and she basked in the temporary warmth while the beam of light remained on her.

Kila wandered through the grass, still feeling lonely. She wondered where Hannie was; then remembered she was probably still with Sam. Deciding not to mope around eating grass, Kila trotted back to the place where the majority of the herd was. She walked around slowly, trying to find Hannie's familiar face among all the other Goey's. Not finding Hannie anywhere, Kila sat sullenly by the stream.

Hannie finished grazing, looking up and glancing around. A ways down the stream, she spotted a familiar figure. She turned back towards Sam, smiling. "I'll see you later, then. Have fun hunting!" she turned and started making her way towards her friend.
"Hey, Kila," she called when she was closer. "How have you been lately? Sorry I haven't really been able to talk," she smiled, sitting down next to her.

"Hannie!" Kila squealed, not suppressing her joy. "I missed you," she said almost sheepishly, scuffing her hoof on the ground. "How is Sam treating you?" she asked, looking her friend in the eyes. Inside, Kila was a bit jealous, but also very glad that her friend was now in a harem. "Is Blossom the only other doe in it?"

He blushed a bit himself, "Why thank you darling." He rolled off, ending up next to her. He stared at the clouds and made shapes in his mind. Like one could be a bunny running through a field, or a butterfly on the tip of something's nose. He smiled and tried to point them out to Milky Way, "See that one? It's a tree swaying in the breeze," He prodded with his feathered paws to a cloud right above the mountains. "And that one, doesn't it look like a bird?"

MilkyWay nodded, "It does look like a bird. And that one over there-" She turned her head towards a smaller cloud, "That one reminds me of the monsters that live at the bottom of the mountain... It's funny how we can see shapes in the clouds. When you're above them they look so much less innocent, and more like vast but soft wastelands, a place where you might go to die in peace."
She blinked as if having forgotten what she'd been talking about, "Maybe it's going to rain. I dunno about you, but I could do with a good thunder storm! It's always hotter when your dark fur soaks up the sunlight."

He relaxed a bit when Blossom offered a conversation starter and, thankfully, one he didn't mind at all talking about. He smiled, the embarrassment melting from his face as he settled into the idea of a good talk.
"It's going well." He glanced over to Garnet, not eve realizing she was speaking to a stranger. "Garnet seems happy, Queen is her usual self, and I'm quite enjoying the thought of the kids. I can't wait to see their first steps and hear their first words." He grinned, imagining the spindly legs, and wide eyes.
He suddenly felt like he was talking too much.
"How's it going with you, Hannie, and Sam? He's a good guy, I hope he's treating you well." There was no suspicion in his tone, only sincere interest. He was very curious to see how his old friend was doing with a harem.

"So he did." Said Lu Ten with a soft smile. "And, I was right. Your name is just as beautiful as you are."
He noticed the awkward atmosphere around the two herd goennecs, but dismissed it. It was not his business, far from it, in fact. He turned back to the business at hand.
"Do you by any chance know where the Prime is? I do not want to anger him by entering your valley." He bowed slightly a second time.
So far, he had received a better welcome than in any of the other herds, but he was still wary. He knew there were some lines that were too risky to cross.

Blossom was pleased to see that Devi had taken well to her change in subject. She noticed how he seemed to have changed his views on harem life as well. At first he had seemed pushy, and had no desire for kids other than to have a strong one to follow on after him. Now, he seemed like a gentle stag who could not wait to raise his young alongside his does. She opened her mouth, about to comment on what he had just said, when he asked her about her own situation.

Blossom's ears flattened, and her tail dropped. Why is it the one thing I could think about that would make him feel at ease on a conversation is the one thing I would really rather not talk about? she thought to herself, wondering how to answer. She didn't feel like belittling Sam, as they were still above all friends, but she still wasn't the type to lie, especially to Devi. "Hannie looks like she hasn't been happier in her time with us. Sam seems to bring out her more adventurous side, and he cares deeply for her," she answered, bending down and picking another dandelion to chew on.

Sec smirked. "I know exactly where he is. Been watching him all morning. Big black ram down there. He'll be meeting my horns soon." He tossed his head challengingly, eager to fight, especially with Garnet's close proximity teasing him. The thought that he was so close, and yet so far from having an ewe to claim as his own was tantalizing. Cruel. Painful. Hooves pawing against the ground to delay his charge, it was all he could to to not get up and ram something, anything- preferably Devi, and not Garnet.

"I've missed you too," Hannie grinned, noticing her friend's enthusiasm. "Sam has been treating me amazing. I've never felt this... pampered? I don't really know a word for it, but I know that it's good," she said, tilting her head slightly as she still tried to decide what word was good. Noticing the last bit of what she said, she snapped out of her thoughts and turned back to Kila. "Yes, Blossom is the only other doe. She hasn't been around as much, lately, though..." Hannie added.
Hannie hoped Kila was doing alright -she knew that she was one of Kila's only good friends, and they hadn't talked in days. I hope she is able to join a harem, she thought, wishing the best for her friend.
