Kaze laughed, and playfully nuzzled the creamy doe's ear, emerald eyes shining with amusement. "Okay, sounds great," he said, flicking a few feathery snowflakes off of his ebony ears, then paused as she continued. Kaze widened his eyes in mock surprise as Alaska spoke, then grinned. "Hey, I won't stick out too bad! Just like...oh, I don't know, a cardinal in the snow." His eyes shone with amusement, their green irises sparkling. The rime-grey ram smiled as Alaska moved closer, and rubbed his cheek against hers, feeling flooded with happiness. He loved spending time with Alaska; he felt even more bubbly and outgoing than he already was. "Okay, where to?" he offered, eyes bright, flicking his ears, showing he didn't mind where they hunted.
~
Takuo reared up on his hind hooves and batted at the air, eyes sparkling with excitement, sending snow spiraling into the air as he pawed playfully. He grinned as Devi nudged him, and he leapt forward, down the slight rise, dusted with snow, eager to play with the other kid. "Okay!" he exclaimed, nodding vigorously. "Yeah!" he agreed, bouncing eagerly from paw to paw. "I'm gonna get you!" he challenged, a laugh shimmering in his eyes. With an excited bounce, he leapt forward, attempting to ram into the other young goey, but it wasn't enough to hurt him; Takuo's horns were still considerably small, and dull; and he himself wasn't...the largest kid in the herd.

"Ahh, that won't be a problem," Roshan replied to Stargazer, feeling a comfortable warmth when he looked into her shining eyes. "I can manage to hunt for both of us. I'd enjoy your company immensely. Plus, the prey will be better fresh." Laughing a bit, Roshan suggested that the two head towards the area where the river met the forest and see what they could find. The young ram proceeded to extend his forleg in a sweeping manner, settling it far enough away from his body that he leaned towards it in a bow. "After you, my lady," Roshan said, a twinkle in his bright violet eyes. Thinking for a moment, the doe's electric blue eyes wandered over the land in front of them. "I think we might find some prey in the meadow, near the border of the forest on this side of the river," she said after her initial thoughts. Alaska nudged Kaze's brown-grey hip, encouraging his advice. When the doe moved her head back from the ram's flank, she noticed the intricate whorls on his side. She loved tracing the patterns with her eyes, and noted they created wings that could not be used to fly. Alaska couldn't help but think that didn't matter, for Kaze's spirit soared over those of most Goennecs. A soft smile flitted on the corner of her lips.

Svartur felt T's horns hit him and let out a laugh, dramatically falling to the ground with a shrill squeal of excitement. He felt considerably younger, playing with T, for Svartur was always acting rather mature for his age, whereas it seemed Takuo acted his own age. The little ram smiled and got to his feet, charging forwards at an average speed. He tripped at the last minute, falling face first infront of T with a soft chuckle. "Ouch," He murmured, before he burst out laughing. He was grinning ear to ear as he got to his hooves, bounding off and hiding behind a small hill covered in snow. "Come and Find me!" He called. Garnet frowned ever so slightly, trying to ignore Dew. The doe seemed rather...what was the word..guileless to her. But yet, when she spoke, it also seemed as if she meant for her words to be cruel. She was a hard one to crack. In the end, she felt the need to reply. "My memory isn't the best anyway. Carrying a kid just makes it slightly worsen," She replied, her voice slightly on edge. She turned to look at Endie, who seemed to be shrinking and disappearing into her own self. Just as Garnet had done on her first day. "Endie, how is harem life for you? Does Sam (*forgets which ram chose her) still treat you well?" She asked, her eyes burning with curiousity. Garnet could barely imagine Sam treating anyone right; he had neglected Blossom so much she had left him for Devi, after all.

"Oh, hello Blossom," Hannie said cheerfully, smiling. "It has. I've been good; lots of sleep lately, I think the baby is making me tired," she chuckled. "How've you been?" Hannie noticed Endie's barely concealed relief and smiled a bit; she knew the other doe wasn't partial to others, which vaguely made her wonder why she was participating in Siv. Endie obviously had her reasons, which Hannie wouldn't pry into, and she turned her attention to the other does around her. Her attention drew slightly to Garnet and Dew, half of her attention listening to their conversation while directing most of it towards Kila and Blossom -if Dew was involved, she was interested to see how the conversation went.

Dew's smirk grew wide, but she merely made a purr like noise, contempt clear on her face as Garnet answered. Her attention was turned by Hannie's question at Blossom, her ears forward, as she herself was curious on the young doe's condition, despite her not showing it much. Having found Blossom as nothing more than a kid, she worried about her, and was eager to know if the Prime had treated her well after Siv had ended. She entirely ignored the other female, Endie, as she considered that the doe was beneath her, despite not saying it verbally, as the doe seemed to comprehend this, her submissive pose showing so.
"I am alright. Excited I suppose, but worried," she answered. During her time in wild herds, she had seen that does had no problem giving birth to their single babies, but Blossom's mother had given birth to a litter of three when she had been born, and she could recall the soft towels that lined their nest when they were very young, comforts that she knew her young would never know, and this made her, for just a second, wonder if she had made the right choice.
As she mused on her choice to lead a life with a nomad herd, and then end up in Devi's herd, the smell of prey filled her nose, and she looked up, only to notice a gray stag with dark blue horns approaching. Sam was directing himself towards Hannie and the rest of the does that he had kept in his harem, a rabbit and two voles in his mouth, looking as though if he was having difficulty carrying the prey towards the does. The awkwardness that had enshrouded them during the Siv seemed to have vanished however, as Blossom gave him a warm smile and a greeting, happy to see he had taken up his duties so far after the Siv, knowing that not all males tended to keep a look out on their females.
The prey in his mouth seemed to want to run away, and his face was scrunched with concentration at not wanting to drop it, as despite him being a large goennec, a rabbit and two voles was quite the burden for him to carry. He noticed more does around his harem does, and his ears flicked with embarrassment, knowing he had not brought enough for all. He walked past Garnet and Dew and placed his catch in between the does, his eyes bright with a smile. He gave Hannie an affectionate lick and he then looked at the others, as he sat down, a slight air of tiredness on his face, his paws and hooves damp from the snow. He returned the smile at Blossom and then looked at Hannie. "Your food has arrived. I couldn't find more rabbits, nor do I think I would have been able to carry them back. My apologies," he told Kila, Endie and Hannie, a genuine look of shame on his face.

Either the tension was growing or her anxiety was acting up. It didn't really matter to Endie, all she wanted was to be left out of it. She knew they must think her strange. Garnet's question caught her though and she replied with a simple nod of the head. She took a breath and calmed herself. This wasn't anything to panic over and the stress wouldn't be good for her little one. She shifted and breathed deeply again, this time she picked up the scent of Sam's delivery. Her mouth watered at the sight of the juicy rabbit. The voles didn't look half bad either. "I-it's okay Sam." She shrank a bit at her noticeable stutter. She hated doing that, it was bad enough that her body language screamed 'wuss', she didn't need the verbal confirmation.

Dew turned around to look at the peasant, a clear look of 'how have you managed to survive this long?' on her face. She snorted, and got up, then strutted away without a single word. The group no longer amused her, and she was getting hungry herself. Lavantia had sent Talahasi to hunt for them, so she would see if the stag had found something for them. If not, she was afraid she would have to reduce herself to hunting for her own food.
Not long after, she saw the golden doe nearby, and she walked up close, her hooves making some noise despite being muffled by the snow. "Has Talahasi come back yet?" she asked kindly, her voice filled with simple curiosity, as she knew that harsh words would not give her the food she wished for, and she had very plainly left them both during the morning, anger at Blossom blinding her from her basic needs.
Sam saw Dew leaving, and he wasn't sure whether he was sorry or not. He had seen the doe's real face some time ago, and ever since that time, they had not been the best of friends. He turned his attention to the stuttering Endie, and he blinked warmly at the doe. "Are you alright? You look cold. Or maybe you are just hungry? Eat up and don't worry about me," he responded in a reassuring voice, oblivious to the obvious discomfort on the female.

Endie's embarrassment was plain on her face and she knew it. She laid her ears back and stared at her feet, busying herself with shoving one of her hooves into the dirt. She wanted that rabbit, her belly craved it, but she didn't want to be rude and take it, leaving only voles for the others. They were just as deserving as she. She eyed the morsel, then, turned her gaze to the voles. She didn't want to look like she was denying the meal Sam had caught for her and her Harem-mates so she settled on taking the smaller of the two voles. She reached forward gingerly and dragged it towards her.

Kapira nodded, flicking an ear forward was Guru spoke. “It’s like if a Goennec here was born solid. Some might think less of it than a solid baby. Or maybe not, I know I wouldn’t.” Kapi paused after her words, thinking about her previous situation. “I guess I don’t really how to understand it myself,” she said.
"Thank you, Sam," Kila said, looking at the prey on the ground. It was actually a quite impressive amount. "I can share with someone else," she added quietly, not wanting Sam to feel bad. As she listened to Endie talk, Kila's ears twitched. She wondered why Endie seemed so umcomfortable.

((I'm sorry that I took so long to reply. >.<))
A tentative smile flickered across Patience's face at the doe's question.? "I love this weather. Cold and snowy, it's perfect." She paused for a moment to shake the snow out of her striped mane before continuing. "I don't think that I've really met you before. I'm Patience. What might your name be?" The doe's scarlet eyes glowed with friendly interest as she looked at the other goennec. Patience was not generally one to start conversations; but when she did, she almost always found that it was worth it.

Talahasi had found several nice looking rabbits but being only one stag he couldnt carry them all back. He put one over his back and picked the other up. He look longingly at the third but there was nothing doing. H slowly made his way back to Lavantia and noticed that Dew was also making her way back.
Lavantia looked up and shook her head, " No sorry Dew he's not back yet. Oh wait here he comes." She said her tail wagging slightly.

Her nose twitching at the smell of meat, Dew turned and saw Talahasi with two rabbits, one on his back, and the other one in his jaws. She raised an eyebrow, staring at the unusual way Talahasi was carrying the rabbits. Well what do you know? He actually has some brains in there. Good. Maybe the child can inherit some of those wits... she thought, a grin on her delicate features. Her eyes sparkled up, and she ran towards the spotted ram, happiness clear in her eyes. "Talahasi, you are back," she said happily, her tail giving a small wag, brushing against him in a gentle motion.

{{Sorry for the uber-lateness D:}}
Kaze smiled, a grin dancing in his emerald eyes. "Sounds great!" he agreed, gazing over the breathtaking, snow-dusted landscape, towards the normally-lush meadow, though now it was dusted with a thin layer of frost, and beyond. It was an amazing sight; an extraordinary winter wonderland, where snowcaps topped the purpleish mountains, shrouded in icy mist, and delicate, featehry snowflakes swirled through the air, tickling the goennec's pelts as it alighted. And....sharing it all with Alaska made it all the more wonderful. Feeling happiness and excited energy flow through him, he pawed at the air with a teasing grin. "Let's go!" he laughed, gently nuzzling Alaska's pale cream and black ear, and swished his tail, grinning.
Takuo burst into a fit of laughter, his striking golden eyes seeming to glow. "Whoa-" with a laugh, the young tan kid tripped over his front paws and landed with a muffled thud in the snowbank, gasping for breath. Scrambling to a standing position, he thoroughly shook himself, sending tiny, feathery flakes of snow spiraling upwards, and alightinggracefully on the ground. Rearing onto his hind legs, with a challenging glint in his eyes, he called out, through giggles, "Hey! Where do you think you're going? I'm gonna get you!" he laughed, skidding down the rise and looking around, searching for the ebony and ivory kid. "Hmm, hmm, where could he be?" he called, loud enough for Svartur to hear; though he spotted a few pawtracks in the snow. Giggling, he crouched down into the snow, his ebony tail swishing with excitement, and he crept through the feathery powder, approaching the snow-capped hill. Holding his breath, Takuo scrambled up the rise, careful...well, trying not to slip. He held his breath as a few stray pebbles tumbled down, then giggled, eyes shining. "Gotcha!" he cried, wriggling his hind legs and leaping into the air. With a laugh, he skidded down the other side, scrambling for a grip in the snow. With a giggle, he crawled forward attempted to prod the other kid with a front paw, and grinned. "You're it!"

"Me too, but I suppose whatever happens will happen," Hannie responded to Blossom. She looked over, smiling as Sam returned with prey. "Thank you, Sam," she said happily, adding "Don't worry, its fine." Hannie noticed Endie taking the smallest of the voles; there was no way that would keep her full. "I'll share the rabbit with you Kila; Endie, would you like some of the other vole?" she offered kindly, trying to make sure everyone got a fair share of food. ~~ Mal nodded slightly. "I do not mind this weather; it is refreshing, and kids seem to like it well enough," she added, thinking of the young one she had seen -and heard -running around in the snow recently. "My name is Malyaka," she introduced herself, meeting the does eyes for a quick second in a way that she could consider a friendly manner before her eyes darted down or to the side or behind the other doe again. "It is nice to meet you." Now that the introduction was done, she struggled again for something to say, but came up blank. I am sure she will say something if she wishes to, she decided, waiting.

~~~Time Skip~~~ (Don't forget to wait for your PM to start RPing the arrival of your kid)
Eyes focused, ears pressed forward, muscles tensing, Devi pressed all of his senses towards the slight rustle in the leafy undergrowth. He'd strayed a few yards past the treeline just too see if he could find an easy catch. Hunting in the woods was easier, there was more cover, but he had to be sure not to wander further than necessary. He'd seen signs of a bear around a few days ago and he had no desire to come face to face with that.
His belly rumbled slightly and he flinched slightly at the empty ache in it. Most of his time had been devoted to finding food for his does. He wanted them as fat, healthy, and happy as possible before their kids came and the time was fast approaching. The birthing season had crept up on them a few days ago and though no does had dropped a kid yet, there were certainly more than a few 'full to bursting' bellies around.
He took one slow, cautious step forwards, careful to place it silently in front of him as he pulled himself slowly into range of attack. He took one last wiff, ensuring that it was indeed a small rabbit, he'd need to be quick. He launched himself over the small bush concealing him, at which point, the rabbit spotted him, turned, and took a spring towards it's rabbit hole. However, it was too slow. Devi barely caught it, but it's foot was more than enough for him to take a good hold of and stop it in it's tracks. He quickly pinned it and delivered a quick nip to the neck, killing it.
Now all he had to do was decide which of his does would get it. As he weaved his way back into the field, he noticed how long he'd been in the woods. The sun was already passed it's high point, not far passed it, but far enough for him to realize that he would need to go back out looking for more food.
"Just a little longer Devi. You can eat later."
Forest and Lu st side by side on Devi's favorite hilltop. They'd decided to hijack it while the Prime was out hunting. Since Lu had arrived, he and Forest had spent almost every moment together. The two had become wonderful friends and at this point, Forest was almost wishing they weren't past the point of participating in the siv. She had never bonded well with Rams her age, being so close to Lu almost made her feel older and a bit useless. She was no longer able to show her affection by bearing him a kid and asking him to join her in raising it as a mated pair. She looked around at all the young expecting and felt a pang of longing even as she giggled at Lu's teasing.
Endie swayed slightly as she grazed. For an hour now, she'd been munching lazily on the fresh green shoots. She was lost in the thoughts of her soon-arriving kid, shutting out the rest of the herd around her. She was completely serene, no worries pushing their way into her thoughts, just a sweet hum of happy thoughts. She felt a kick and a wiggle and she turned her head to nuzzle gently at the swell before going back to her peaceful munching.
"But look at yourself! You are so much fatter than I am! It's how lazy you have become. You barely even go out to your morning grazing anymore, and you look more and more distant. A first time mother should be more careful about her health you know," came the drawling voice of the spotted doe speaking to a white one who was laying on the ground, her purple eyes staring off into the distance and looking as though if she had not heard a single word the older one spoke.
A sigh escaped Dew. She knew that Blossom came from a nomad herd, which probably meant that their customs were a bit different, but she was certain that the strange behavior that had enveloped the young doe was not because of this. Despite herself, the vain one couldn't help but worry. It was only Devi's constant attention that was making Blossom stay with just enough nutrition to feed both her and her unborn child. Devi probably had not noticed the strange behavior, or so she thought, due to having to care for all of the does in his harem, or at least the ones that remained close, Blossom being one of them. But Dew had noticed the change, despite the large belly betraying no signs of illness, the white coat had lost some of its shine, and her gaze was blank more than half the time, almost as though if her thoughts were in a much deeper place, one full of worry. Snorting, Dew prodded the female, annoyance clear. "Are you even listening to me?"
The prod was all that Blossom needed to snap back this time, and her head turned to face Dew. "Not now Dew..." she muttered, getting up gingerly and starting to move out, her ears swiveled back as she heard Dew's calls back to her of whatever she had been talking about. A prod in her belly called her attention back to the immediate situation. She had not eaten yet that day, nor had she grazed, but it was already too late to go to her favorite spot, something that did not please her in the least bit.
How can it be so late already? she thought, her last memory being of watching the sun rising, announcing the arrival of yet another spring morning. She sighed and continued walking, her paws and hooves taking her to Devi's favorite hill by memory. She stopped soon before reaching the hill, a happy giggle reaching her ears. As she looked up, she noticed Forest and Lu side by side, perched on top of the hill without a care in the world, looking down at the herd. A small smile crossed the young doe, happy to see Forest so happy. Her tail gave a small flick as she realized that she probably shouldn't interrupt them, and she turned around, wondering why she had even thought of going to Devi's hill in the first place.
A booming yell sounded as navy horns clashed with another ram's rear, making him fall head first to the stream. A curse sounded as the gray ram responsible hollered in laughter and ran out, his amber eyes gleaming with amusement. He had been lucky in his hunt that day, and had already seen to his does, leaving the rest of the day open for pranks and play. As he ran, Sam did a flip and rolled on the ground, his legs flailing in the air. His excitement at the prospect of kids arriving soon was clear, and as he scratched his back against the earth and looked up at the sky, he wondered just how his kids would be, and he wondered how many pranks and jokes he could get into with them.
{{Yay, timeskip! Going ahead and posting with T~}} The warm, spring sun shone high in the sky, glittering among wispy white clouds which chased eachother through the air. The air was light and warm, songbirds twittering in the joy of spring. At last, warmth had come again, life was stirring.
"Wahoo!" A high-pitched cry echoed through the valley, and the leafy undergrowth of the forest surrounding the valley rustled, earning the voice's owner a few angry caws from the birds who had been woken from a midmorning nap. With laughter shining clear in his eyes, Takuo leapt out of the forest's undergrowth and wriggled through a leafy bush, leaves rustling and clinging to his tan-golden pelt.
"Hey, come back here!" he called, striking golden eyes bright as he spotted the deep golden butterfly flit away, gently floating over the feathery grasses and meadow flowers. Eyes narrowed, he grinned and crouched into the grass, swishing his ebony tail with excitement shining in his eyes. Taking a deep breath, T tensed his legs and took a careful step forward, lifting his front paw, focused on his target.
"Wraaah!" the young kid called a..battle cry, and, wriggling his tail, he tensed his legs. Crouching lower, he leapt forward after his prey, though his 'miraculous leap' was more of a trip as his hind hoof caught on a small stone, and, giggling, he tumbled forward, and landed in a flurry of golden fur. He paused for a moment, then burst out into a fit of giggles, his striking amber eyes bright with laughter as he rolled around in the feathery grass. Pausing to catch his breath, he scrambled upwards, and spotted a dusty brown doe and a deep maroon ram sitting together on a rise, and reared up, excitement tingling his fur.
"Hey!" he called, giggling, and bounded forward, dodging around a scraggly bush and racing through the emerald grasses, the slim blades dotted with wildflowers. Grinning, he scrambled over a smooth grey slab of rock, then skidded to a stop just a few feet away from the elders. "Hi Forest! Hi Lu Ten!" he greeted, eyes shining and waving his tail eagerly. "What are you doing up here? Are you talking? Or are you watching the butterflies? I was chasing a butterfly! It was gold, kinda like me, except, I mean, it was really, really bright! For real! Like totally bright yellow! And I was chasing it but then I tripped and stuff, but then I saw you up here and so...hi!" his train of excited comments ended with an exuberant greeting, and, eyes shining, he shifted eagerly from paw to paw, enjoying the warmth of the sun dappling his fur.
Nixx had successfully found two voles for Milky Way and himself, and was on his way to deliver. He could not believe how big his mate had gotten, but she was sill beautiful as he always sees her. He's never made one comment on her weight, but that is probably the least of her worries as his mystical genes and hers together could make something beautiful or carry the Hannescon's Disease. Whichever way though, he was proud to call a child his own.
It was surprising how much lighter the air seemed to feel; the arrival of spring made the world much more...brighter.
Queen stood in the herd's valley, slightly off to the side of the herd but not nearly as far as she had wandered times before this. No, the doe had done some thinking; and it was in her instinct to want to remain close to others when this far into her pregnancy.
She had not spoken much to Devi over the course, but honestly she didn't mind. The ram had probably figured out that Queen had played him; so she didn't go over to where she knew he probably was and stayed on the outskirts, in easy view of most of the members. One ear was positioned toward them; the filter of conversations and cheerful mothers expecting their firsts, or maybe even further then that.
Those that usually could be found around her [primarily Alabaster] had been banished off, for the time. Queen had sent them into the herds, although she knew, if she turned her head a fraction of an inch, that Alabaster stood just there. Foolish little ram.
Snorting to herself, she took a few steps closer and took some patient bites of grass, tail flicking. She had plenty of time to wait; and plenty of days to watch the fellow kids being born. A brisk glance at her own stomach betrayed that she too was far along; and shifting to make herself more comfortable, Queen reminded herself to let Devi know, at least, when the kid was born. He would probably want to know that.
Spring. Threonine looked up at the sky, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly in order to see a cloud that, to him, appeared similar in shape to a long necked bird. A stork. He chuckled to himself, How amusing. Perhaps it was time to be heading back towards the herd. He'd spent a good deal of the morning juggling between hunting for the does and standing on guard for predators. In fact, he hadn't slept much for a while now, and though he was glad that the Siv was done and over, the work load had seemingly doubled. Never cared for does before, never felt the need to. He'd faught his way through the past 13 or so years, rarely a dull moment, but in the past he'd preferred to think himself... Too good for full time harem life. He'd had one or two in the past, but didn't bother to feed his does, always resulting in miscarages. What's changed? Threonine knew, but didn't feel like saying it, even in his head. With a toss of his mane, he high-stepped his way down the little hill and trotted towards the others, stopping on the way to pick up some prey for the does which he'd shoved under a rotting log and buried in dirt. The fur would have to be removed anyway, so he figured a little dirt wouldn't matter.
Milky Way, who had been sleeping while she stood, opened one eye to see Nixx approaching with food. She lifted her head and turned it towards him, her mouth curving up in a smile. Though she tried her best not to let him know it, she had been feeling more and more miserable as of late. All the love in the world would not have been enough to make her feel better, for her feet felt tied to the ground as if by large rocks, she could not move freely, sleep freely, run freely. The starry doe would be glad when her kid was born. She wasn't used to carrying so much weight, and it even made her feel ashamed. But that's silly, most of the does are also heavy now... She shook her head, letting out a soft growl as she tried to shake away the feeling. Even that caused her to side step a little to balance herself though. "Hello Nixx."
Stargazer too felt trapped by the weight of her kid, and wasn't quite patient enough to hide it. She hadn't truely expected to really end up with a kid, hadn't even known she was capable of being anything like motherly. It was a good test of her character, she didn't want to fail. Stargazer would take on any opponent, whether she expected to win or lose, she'd laugh either way. By now she wasn't really worried about the health of her kid, she felt that it was bound to be perfect, and wondered occasionally what it would look like. Would it have her dark fur, Roshan's bright eyes? A doe or a ram... So much to think about. At the moment though, she just felt grumpy.
Guru, on the other hand, was quite enjoying himself. He liked being retired, because it meant he had twice as much time to sleep and eat. His teeth weren't quite as sharp as they once were, so he tended to feed more on grasses and berries, with meat being something he ate very rarely. Now he slept at the bottom of a hill, his tail flicking up in a contented way. He wanted to be well rested for when the kids started to come. How he loved the spring! The time of year when his soft purple, baby blue and grassy green fur fit in best with the surroundings. He felt like he looked best in the spring, always did. But then, Guru might also say that he'd always been a very handsome ram, particularly in his prime. He liked telling glory stories of how strong he was. In truth he'd never been thatmuscular, mostly just tall. But that didn't make for a good story, gloating about how he was a good size. It wasn't as if he'd shrunk, or the other Goennecs had either. There were several others who were at least as tall as he. Guru stirred slightly, his tongue running along the side of his mouth, the elder's current dream included a big juicy peach. How long it had been since he'd been able to find a peach. It always seemed to be too cold around Devi's heard for peach trees to grow. He'd have to ask the Prime about that, if he wasn't too lazy.
