"Well, they seem to be getting along alright." MilkyWay commented, obviously pleased. She remembered that, growing up, her only playmate had been her sister, Stargazer. The two had always had a mixed relationship. MilkyWay was usually friendly, always had been, and seemed to like Stargazer from the beginning. Stargazer however, had not returned that fondness. She was glad to see that Riall was making friends already, with luck she would learn while she played, about how to act around others for a start. MilkyWay would teach her the rest in good time. Now, she turned towards Kila. She'd never really spoken the grey and blue doe before, and her eyes sparkled with a quiet curiosity. "I'm sorry, I didn't bother to properly introduce myself." She said, "I'm Stargazer. You're from Sam's harem, aren't you?" She asked, thinking of Kila's young Jay, who looked very similar to both.

"Fader her!" Typhoon gurgled happily as he reached up to nuzzle the big ram in front of him. He knew that the ram was his daddy, because Alaska had pointed him out, but he didn't know what dads actually were for. Sidetracked as a butterfly fluttered past his nose, Ty lept forward on wobbly legs and bumped into Sam. "Uffnn. Thorry." Typhoon looked at the muscular ram and giggled. "Well, he seems to like you. Then again, he likes just about everyone so far." Alaska grinned at Kaze, letting him know she was joking. Ty did like everyone, but she and he both knew that Kaze wasn't just another Goennec. Wiggling her tail, she nuzzled the ram's feathery cheek before turning back to Endie, Sam, and Oli. "Sorry, Ty hasn't quite gotten used to his little legs yet." A somewhat nervous laugh followed, and Alaska felt awkwardness stretching. After a moment, the doe turned her ice-blue gaze on Oli. "She's very cute," Alaska ventured, peering at Endie from the corner of her eyes. --I'll post for Roshan later, soon as I think something up--

"Okay!" Jay said excitedly, looking back at Kila for a moment. "Go!" he shouted, extending his legs as far as they would reach; his stride quite large for a kid. Jay's back feet kicked into the air, the buck one of excitement. He looked over to his side, and saw Riall close by. While he was turned looking at Riall, Jay hadn't been looking where he was going. Tripping over a stump; Jay stumbled and fell, rolling once before he righted himself again. Standing up slowly, the large kid shook himself, finding that nothing was hurt.
Kila nodded as Milkyway commented on how Jay and Riall were getting along, not finding any need to voice her agreement even though Milkyway didn't see her nod. Kila dipped her head slightly, a smile on her face. "It's fine," she began softly, intrigued by the curiosity in the other doe's eyes. "I'm Kila, and yes, Sam is Jay's father," she finished with a smile, turning for a moment to look at the two kids. Eyes widening as she saw Jay fall, her body stiffened. When Jay got back up her normal breathing resumed, a relaxed posture returning.

Beebie glanced, again, at Doe before stepping forward. She was delighted to see a slightly warm expression on her face that was replacing a tense, fearful one. As she approached the Prime, she designed a cool and content look on her face. She hoped for the best as she was face to face with him.
Riall was happy to be running next to Jay, it felt good and she tried to catch up to him the best she could. Pumping her legs as fast as she could with a smile on her face, she was surprised to see Jay fall. She looked down at him with a horrified expression and was about to ask him what was wrong, but changed her mind when he got up and seemed perfectly fine. She sort of chucked when she asked him, "Are you okay?"

As Blossom left to get the others, Devi's attention was drawn to something playing with his tail. Turning back in surprise, he could see his daughter, apparently looking for trouble with his Ivory fluff. Before he could say anything, a second pair of red-pink eyes caught his. He looked nervously between the two. "Not now, I'm busy." He whispered, hoping they'd not cause any ruckus. "Ander, Sihir, stay with your mother for now, we can play later, okay?" Before he could look up and recompose himself, they'd gotten too close for him to be confident in his mask, but he put it on anyway, hoping maybe they hadn't seen.
"Play in steam! Play in steam!" Oli chanted, bounding around almost in a puppy-like fashion. She loved the mischievous possibilities water held and she figured by now, Sam must know all the best ways to use it. Despite what her mother thought, Oli never did mind getting wet, in fact, she quite liked it. It made her longer-than-normal mane and tail heavy and sloppy and if she rolled in the dirt afterward, it would make mud which she knew to be the most delightful grimy goo. Her mother would fret over her for hours until she was sure Oli's fur was once again spotless and the young kid loved the pampering even if it did come with all that nagging.
(I justnow realized I forgot to add in Endie. xD Woopsies~)
Looking up towards where Alaska, Typhoon and Kaze had been, Endie realized Alaska had commented on her little Oli. She smiled shyly at the kind remark of the doe and gave a nervous flick of her tail. "Thank you." She answered, perhaps a bit too softly. "Typhoon is pretty handsome himself." She added, not wanting to take a compliment without returning the favor. Not that she didn't think it was true, she very much liked the striping swirling grays of the young ram.

Thinking for a moment, Roshan looked down at his daughter. "Maybe you could play with Takuo?" he suggested. Glancing around, he saw the young ram playing in the water. "Although, the water is... wet. And T is older than Echo. But he knows how to be gentle. What do you say?" The ram directed this question to both Stargazer and Echo, wanting both of their approval.

As his father put up a serious look once more after telling them he would play later, Ander turned his eyes to his sister, noticing she was still playing with his tail. His ear twitching as he saw their mother approaching, he got up and nudged Sihir, getting an unhappy grunt from her and a scowl. A bleat escaped him as he shook his head and nudged her again, trying to get her to stop. Despite Sihir's constant want of trouble, he knew she would stop if coaxed enough. Sure enough, one nudge later, the green kid huffed angrily and ran off towards their mother, making him follow closely.
Her kids stepping up next to her as she approached the Prime, Blossom looked up at Devi, standing lower than where he did, knowing that it would not be the best of ideas to let the newcomers stand at the same height as him while they asked to be accepted into the herd. She looked back at them and noticed Beebie looking nervous. A glance to the other doe let her see that she was looking down, almost as though if she was refusing to have her eyes meet the Prime's. A curious look crossed Blossom's purple eyes, her tail giving a flick as she turned back to Devi. She looked at both Sihir and Ander and stepped out of the way, guiding them to stand away from Devi's line of sight of the two newcomers, hoping it would go well for both.
"That's right! Strea-" Sam's words were cut short by the Alaska's kid bumping into him. He hadn't felt the bump in his own excitement, but he had heard the small one apologizing, and he beamed down at him. "Don't you worry your little head off. Accidents happen. Just make sure that you get those paws of yours big and strong so you don't blunder when it does matter," he said in a kind yet booming voice.
He turned his head back down and noticed his daughter staring up at him, excitement clear in her eyes. "Race ya to the stream!" he said, his tail all but wagging. He turned and pretended to be about to start running at top speed, knowing his daughter liked a bit of competition when he took her out to play.

Devi hardly noticed as Blossom and the others stopped before him, awaiting him to speak. He was too busy making sure his own expression was right. After a moment or two of silence, he realized it was time for him to actually say something. He thought for another moment, drawing out the silence, then finally addressed them. "How is it that you have come to my herd?" he asked. A simple question, directed at both the young does.
Oli giggled, at Sam's booming response to the gray kid. She loved how loud he was, even with the young ones. She waggled her tail again at his challenge. "Race!" She laughed, and took off again, sure she had outsmarted him by starting first. She ran as quickly as she could, straight for the water.

Beebie glanced to see if Doe was going to speak first, but she decided would go anyways it, no matter if she was going or not. "My name is Beebie and I come from the mountains that range far away from these here, surrounding your herd," She pointed with her nose towards the direction of the mountains. "I have a long past, even though I am only four, it feels like I could be eleven from what has happened in the past." She took a deep breath, and continued, "I was born as the Prime's first daughter, well while he was in his position anyways, and I was greatly respected there. My father treated me like a princess, such as taking me to play when I was little and having the Prince take his post for a while. As I was reaching the age of 2 and 6 months, I was ready to go on my own. My father, the loving soul he is, wanted me as the Prince, since his was getting old and rather slow, ranging around 28 years (lets just say the years while she was getting older, he was quickly getting weaker and weaker). Long story short, because I know you are probably getting impatient with me, he chose me. The night I was suppose to be there for out little ceremony, I went hunting and was caught by a human. I was then used to hunt for the human who had caught me. It was a tough life, nothing I was accustomed to as I was growing up in the herd with everything I needed. I had gottened in trouble one day and my owner tried to kill me with one of those metal sticks that shoot really fast fire. I had gotten away, luckily, and found myself running home, but they wouldn't accept me, thinking I was a traitor who was not to be trusted. So now... I am here, hoping, that you will accept me so I can start fresh."

Her head still looking at the ground, Doe knew she must speak, as she had been asked a direct question. Why it was the leader of this herd directing himself at two does was beyond her, as the only times she had been directed by the Prime had been strictly for the passing of his lineage. Blinking, she thought about the events that had led her to find this new herd. Her ear flicked with unease, knowing that she had given birth to a child that most would have been ashamed of, and seen him be savagely killed due to this very shame. Anger and sadness on her eyes, she looked up at Devi, showing the same conviction she had shown when she had decided to defile her orders and survive.
"I shamed the Prime by giving birth to an affected young this Siv, sullying his bloodline. He murdered him, smashed his head in while pinning me down to watch, and then ordered me to make myself useful and feed the bears. I defiled his orders and have traveled as far as I could, hoping to find another herd that would take me despite my disobedience," she said simply, her voice calm, but her eyes brimming still with the anger she felt towards her old herd and the pain of having lost her kid. Knowing it was disrespectful to stare at the Prime in the eyes, she turned her gaze back down, hoping that he would not hold that against her. She was now at the mercy of this black ram, and she knew she would have to behave if she was to make a good impression, and hope that her honesty would gain her some merit.
As the doe spoke, Blossom's eyes grew wide.
It's head smashed in? I thought her name being Doe was odd enough... but... What kind of a herd does this doe come from?
Horror was evident in her gaze, and she shook her head violently, not wanting the poor creature notice anything odd. She doubted this would be the case, as the moment she had stopped talking, she had lowered her head again, almost as though if afraid of being reprimanded. She scowled, curious. She wondered if Devi would ask the doe to say more, or if he would move to the other. Her gaze turned immediately to the younger doe, Beebie, no more doubt in her mind that they didn't come from the same herd.
Running after his daughter, keeping his pace at a nice and slow rate, he called after his daughter, promising that he would catch up. Close to the water however, a familiar bobtail loomed, making a devilish grin appear on his face. "Look well Oli! This is how you greet your fellow rams!" he called, his head down as he charged at the brown rear of Prodigy. His horns made contact and a loud splash was heard, making Sam look up happily and boom his regular "Hiya Prodigy!", his head held high as he looked back at his daughter, a goofy grin on his face as he was full of childish pride at what he had just accomplished.

Threonine watched Devi speaking to the strange new does. He had been watching for a while now, always keeping his eyes on anything unusual, from the moment they had arrived. He had been curious to move closer learn more, but had waited until the Prime got there first. The new does seemed very different, he observed, not in appearance, but in behavior. Admittedly, Threonine did not think as highly of does as he did of rams. He respected them and enjoyed their company on occasion, many could even hold intelligent conversations, but does did not fight during the siv. They were not the ones to choose, but to be chosen. It wasn't cruelty, it was nature. He turned to the doe who sat patiently beside him, "Subira, I shall go down now to better see what is happening. I trust you too have seen the foreign does, I doubt they pose any threat to us (unless they are spies from an enemy herd, but I can think of no herd which would have need for such spies), still, I feel a need to know more. It would be foolish of me to sit lazily watching the days go by while the world changes beneith my feet. Stay and wait for me, I'll not be too long."
"Of course." The caramel and white doe nodded, her blue eyes shining in the sunlight. She had remained a loyal friend to Threonine since they had been very young, and this had survived the tests of time and space, until they had found each other once again after several years of seperation. She had her own way of doing things, but Threonine knew that she was jealous of Emma, Melia, and their kids who he had sired. Subira smiled, no sign now of any jealousy. "But I'm going to laugh if Devarsi sends you back."
Threonine just snorted and kicked the ground with his back hoof, sending up a short spray of grass and dirt. With any luck he would not get sent back, he hadn't really had much time to speak to the Prime after the siv had ended anyway. As he trotted towards the others, his thoughts again turned back to the does. How odd that two would turn up at once. Oh well. He arrived just as the yellowish doe with white spots had finished speaking. *Darn it.* Threonine was a bit frustrated that he'd already missed some, and held back a little ways behind Devarsi, eyeing the does critically.
Echo listened to her father speak with her head tilted slightly to the side. She loved her father, it always seemed like all the exciting things seemed to happen when he was around. Echo didn't really know who T was, but if Roshan suggested she might enjoy playing with him, it must be true. So, she didn't even give her mother a chance to respond, and blurted out, "Yes yes! Takuo, I want to play with Takuo!" No thoughts that he might find her annoying crossed her young mind. Any goennec was fair game, no matter how old, as long as they knew how to play. "Can I play now?" She asked, looking up at Roshan.
Stargazer turned her attention to where the light brown kid was playing in the water. She'd seen him many times before. He was certainly one of the most outgoing kids in the herd, but at the same time did seem well behaved. She could think of no objection to the idea. "I think that would be good." She agreed with a nod of the head. Stargazer, unlike some of the goennecs in the herd, had never been afraid of the water, it was something to drink and to look at on occasion for it's flowing beauty, but drowning in it did not often cross her mind. Of course, she worried like any mother would that Echo might get hurt, but if Takuo was doing alright, it must not be dangerous.

Toady, you ninja'd me~ xD
Devi nodded seriously as the second doe finished. Both had such unusual pasts, though, what traveler didn't? After hearing this second doe's past, he was suddenly very happy he had been born into this herd, where there had rarely ever been trouble in all his Eleven years and he and his father before him had always made sure Everyone was as happy as he could make them. He could not imagine having a leader who would destroy a kid simply because it was an Affected and especially not in front of it's mother.
The one who introduced herself as Beebie, seemed to fairly normal in terms of behavior. He was confident she would do well in the herd, however, this one called 'Doe' had something strange about her. Some apprehension, an unsureness about her and her story not only intrigued him, but worried him as well. "You are both welcome to stay and be a part of our herd." Devi began with a warm smile and a softer voice. "Blossom. I want you to stick with Beebie for a while. Show her around, introduce her to some of the other members, and get her settled in with us." He said nodding at the black and orange doe. "And . . . Doe." He paused, a little unsure of himself, it was very odd calling a doe by the general term rather than a name unique to her. "I believe I shall show you around myself." He finished with a smile and a nod to the spotted doe. He was eager to know more about this strange and obviously corrupted herd she came from, but he mostly wanted to know why she was acting so strange towards him.
It was then he noticed the Prince, Threonine standing by. The black ram flinched slightly, he hadn't even heard him approach. He mentally scolded himself for being so unobservant and nodded a greeting to his second-in-command.
Oli squealed and giggled in delight as Sam sent the other ram tumbling into the river. She hopped to a stop beside her father as she reached the river and, looking down at the now sopping ram squeaked a parrot of her father's greeting. "I-ya Pod-gee!" Then, attempting to take his lesson to heart, gave Sam a hefty headbutt to what would have been his backside if she where taller. As it where, the blow landed harmlessly on his leg. The failure to send him falling immediately into the water, only made her press herself against him, pushing with all her little might. "I-ya da!" she grunted between shoves.

As Devi spoke, Blossom turned to face him, and she gave him a small smile and a nod. She got up, then turned to Beebie, knowing that she had come from humans so different to hers made her curious about the doe, although she had no thought about comparing. None of the goennecs in this herd knew about her past before the nomad herd, and she wasn't about to reveal it now. The fact that she had twins was strange enough, as she had the sinking feeling it was in here genes. All she could hope was that it wouldn't repeat itself in another Siv, as that may raise some questions about her.
"Let's get you accommodated in the herd," she told the dark doe, flicking her tail so that her kids would follow. "Most of the does are busy with their young, but that never takes away time from socializing." Her purple eyes scanning around to make sure that Dew wasn't in sight, she flicked her ears forward, pleased to not see her. She wasn't the type to warn about the spotted doe, as she did have a certain level of respect for her, but she didn't want her to give an even worse impression of the herd than she already had upon the meeting of the two strangers. She turned around and gave Threonine a respectful nod in greeting and then proceeded to walking away from the two rams and spotted doe, intending to show Beebie around.
As the Prime stated that he would show her around himself, Doe's ears flattened back in fear. Had she said something wrong? Was she going to be given a lesson on how to behave properly? Her face still facing down, she was unaware that the Prince had shown up as well, not that it mattered, as she was already in the position a doe should maintain when in front of a ram. Giving a small nod to show that she had understood, she raised her sight just enough to be able to see where his legs where to be able to follow when he moved.

Beebie smiled at Blossom and gladly followed her, she was so nice and calm, something the young doe has always appreciated. She looked around and it seems as though the goennecs of the herd were of great numbers and lots of little ones were running around, so she decided it was the birthing season. "There seems to be many in this herd," Beebie pointed out, "Do you get along well? Or do you get lots.. fights?"

Hearing Beebie's question, Blossom remained quiet for a moment, thinking about what to answer. The herd was very peaceful in her eyes, but so had been the nomad one she had traveled with when she was younger. "From my life here, I can tell you I have not really seen any big fights, except on Siv," she finally answered, not sure if this would help the new doe. "As for there being many, I will have to agree with you there. Devi has done good with this herd," she finished, a smile on her face as she referred to the Prime.

((Shit, I feel so guilty for not being more active on here D: It will change now, I promise!
Also, correct me if I am invading anywhere I shouldn't, I can alwasy edit~ :3))
Mercury lay silently on a hilltop. he was looking towards the skies, observing the clouds as they moved slowly across it. His tail wagged with excitement as he watched them, wondering what drove them onwards. He has once heard one of the Yaks mention clouds in a passing, she had said that they were the impressions of anything that had died, and to underline her point she has pointed out a sparrow shaped cloud, and everyone knew that sparrows were a food source to the wild cats roaming the zoo at night. And as he lay there, observing the clouds and noticing; why yes indeed, they did look like mortal creatures, he felt a horrid thought in the back of his mind: Was he going crazy?
He had become more and more detached from the rest of the herd ever since he had arrived, at first he had told himself that they simply were not the same species, which seemed like a plausible solution when he remembered how some had reacted to his greetings. But he had no trouble with the Yaks, had he? Or Olek for that matter? And there was also that one who had spoken his language, but still had not seemed to understand completely, however that was a long time ago. He tilted his head down to look towards the others of his species, he felt both physically and mentally distanced from them. It was horrible keeping his distance, but the fear of misunderstandings overruled the developing desperation that he may be separated forever, turning into something that would never be understood by anyone due to separation from others.
"Jeg maa goere noeget, et eller andet i det mindste. Hvis de ikke forstaar mig her, saa maa jeg bare gaa videre, ikke? Fortsaette ud i det ukendte indtil jeg moeder nogen, som forstaar mig. Og hvis jeg moeder igen, saa vender jeg da bare tilbage igen!" With these false words of reassurance, Mercury rose and looked tentatively around. He knew he could never get home again, he sighed "Det maa da ogsaa vaere bedre herude, ikke? Olek sagde at det var bedre, og saa maa det ogsaa vaere saadan!" With strong resolve in his words, he moved forward approaching the small bands of the herd.
((Speech translated: I have to do something, anything at least. If they don't understand me here, then I'll just have to go somewhere else, right? Continue into the unknown until I meet someonw, who udnertsands me. And if I don't meet anyone, then I'll just turn back!
It has to be better outhere, right? Olek said it was better, so it must be like that!))

Feeling heavier every day, Dew crossed the herd lands, wanting to be alone for once. She had been one of the last to get into a harem during the Siv, and as such, her kid had yet to be born. However, the heaviness of the burden she carried was getting to her, making her easier to irritate, and her eternally innocent facade that only Blossom and strangers got to see washed away was starting to melt, just like every Siv. Looking to the ground, the spotted doe kept walking, her blue eyes on the ground, not noticing the silver ram that was walking nearby, and in turn, having her horns collide with his flank. The bump making her look up, she stepped back in surprise and anger.
The one she had bumped into was no more than one of the herd's outsiders, the strange silver stag that never communicated with anyone in an intelligent manner. Her ears flattened, sorely tempted to lash out at him, but she was able to control herself in time. After all, no matter how strange he was, he was still a stag, and a possible harem keeper in the future, one she would not mind belonging to, as despite his lack of social skills, his pelt was one that Dew considered matching for her own beauty. A sweet smile crossed her face, and she lowered her head in a small bow, shifting her feet as though if awkward at the moment. "I am so sorry for that. I should really watch where I am going," she said in a voice to match her smile.

Mercury walked with his head held high, it was not a sign of confidence, actually it was just so he could see further than he would with his head down. as he strode along, his gaze fixed in the distance, he did not notice the other who was wandering without looking, before they collided. He gave a slight squak of surprise and stared at her in confusion. It was a spotted doe, like many others of the herd, he had never seen her before, so when encountering her this close and sudden, he was quite surprised. He watched her anxiously, fearing her reaction. He cocked his head to the side to try and interprent her actions as she bowed her head and spoke the strange language unknown to him. He listened very cartefully, and deteremined that she didn't sound mad at him and she was smiling, which he took as a good sign.
He now noticed her swollen belly. It was an odd condition he had noticed that some of the other does had shown earlier, and suddenly it dawned upon him where all the kids had come from. He stared in amazement at her and gently took a few steps towards her, but stopped thinking that he might be a little rude, what if she had just introduced herself? He mimicked her actions, but beared his teeth in a greeting instead of smiling "Goddag(Hello)" He made sure that he tried to extregate happiness in his voice.

The silver stag seemed gentle enough, something she expected from a lowly peasant. His eyes seemed curious as he stared at her with a look of utter confusion, no words being uttered from his mouth. He took a few steps forward, approaching her somewhat shyly from her point of view, but he suddenly stopped, a look of realization replacing his confused one. Her own head tilted curiously as she raised from the bow, realizing that the ram would not anger from her bumping into him.
He should be honored I even touched him. A bump is really the only way he would be able to get near me without my direct consent.
This conceited thought in her mind, Dew entirely missed the nameless stag, or rather nameless to her, baring his teeth, but immediately looked up when she heard him making a strange, guttural sound. As she did, he saw his bared teeth, and her ears flattened in fright. Heavy as she was in her pregnancy, she would not be able to fight off any kind of roughness the strange stag might do. She had never seen him acting aggressively, but who knew what crossed the mysterious male. As she took a step back, she noticed there was something very odd about the situation.
Staring at him up and down, Dew raised her head slightly. Other than his bared teeth, his posture was one of complete submission, not unlike the one she had taken the second that she had bumped into him. Adding in the fact that his voice sounded obnoxiously happy, she didn't understand him at all. Her legs feeling heavy, the spotted doe resorted to sitting down, her eyes on his as she did so. "You really are an odd one, aren't you?" she asked, more to herself than to him, no sarcasm or mockery on her voice, simply an odd curiosity that seemed to not belong to her.

Mercury quietly obeserved the doe, he did not move a centimeter as he felt her gaze upon him. He rose again and notice dthat she had sat. Cocking his head to one side, he sat down himself and listened intently to her speech. He did not understand a word, but he caught the slight tone of curiosity in her voice and concluded she must have asked who he was. He looked towards the skies, as he thought of a way to respond so that she would understand. A sudden idea came to him, he had no idea if it would work or not, but at least it was better than nothing.
He looked at her again, meeting her gaze. Raising front leg off the ground he managed to make it point at himself "Jeg er Mercury(I am Mercury)" He pronounced the first two words perfectly, but his name had alwasy been hard to pronounce for him, and it came out sounding a bit like the does language, little did he know that his name was in such tounge. Smiling, he tentatively strechted out the frontleg, pointing towards her "Dig?(you?)" He made sure to accentuate the question in his voice.
