Lady smiled, trotting along with the others, she could feel Felix's prescence close behind her. "I wonder what it will look like" she said, refering to the move. Wiggling her tail, Lady glanced up at the sky, it appeared to be growing lighter like before but it still seemed clouded. Sighing, Lady missed the old place already she knew all around it but coming to a new place to stay she wouldn't know her way around.
Jay yawned, flicking her ears she followed the Prince. "No one appears to be alone" She said waving her tail. A new beginning she thought, this should be interesting. Jay smiled and closely followed the Prince to be there if he needed any more help.

Razzy kept her head down as she walked onwards, thoughts flickered through her mind like light on the water, sparkling only to be replaced a second later by something else. thoughtful as she was the doe couldn't help the odd skip or playful bound over a rock as she went, her usual bright happy self still in place despite the changes happening around her. Lifting her head suddenly she made sure all her friends were alright, remembering that Saturn in particular lacked many close friends. Seeing China with the shy female Raz reassured of her friends safety. Glacing round at her travel companions she wonders briefly what they made of the move so far.

It was such an interesting word with lots of different purposes and ways to be put. For a moment, Henna wondered if she should head over to a group, or a lone Goennec looking for someone to travel with. It seemed most of the ground consisted of a doe and a ram. It seemed that even though the Siv wasn't here yet, others were already getting ideas of who's they want in their harems, who'd they fight for, and who would be best. Henna herself was thinking about the Siv, for the idea of a family would be interesting. She had never had children before, so this would be new, and probably an exciting experiance. Shaking the thought away, Henna took a bite of grass to calm her excited nerves. She kept her head high and ears pricked as her bobbed tail wiggled a bit and then stopped. Henna reminded herself of what she was thinking about before. There was the clueless Goennecs, there were the nervous ones too. But there were also the brave Goennecs, one who held confidence in where they were going and what the Prime was up too. Henna was one of these Goennecs. She wanted to let others look up at her and feel alright since she was fine. Not that she'd want everyone staring at her, that would just be odd and creepy. [/ul]

Kaze beamed through the mouthful of lush plants, still cool with dew, and nodded at Subira, emerald eyes warm and shining. He gently lowered his head, depositing a bunch of dandelions and clover onto a smooth rock and shyly nudged the pile forward, eyes twinkling with warmth. "Mmhrrm!" He said through his bundle, laughter dancing in his eyes.

Keete stumbled a bit as he plodded on behind the rest of the herd. His hind hooves kept getting snagged on tree roots and rocks, his tender pawpads hitting rough pebbles. The motion of the large herd all moving at once sent such an odd vibration through his paws that he could not focus on his steps. Because of that, he kept having to look up to make sure that he would not run headfirst into some unknowing herdmember.
Horrible, horrible, horrible. This stupid impairment made him worthless. He couldn't even walk straight! What use was he?
Fury blinded him, his eyesight pulsed and his breath quickened. His whole body seemed to quiver, and before he knew it, he was standing alone. All alone.

Sec trotted around the back of the herd, having ushered his family toward the middle of the group - the safest place to be, as far as he could tell. He, however, trusted his abilities enough to stray, his head held low to the ground to allow him as much of the cleanest air as possible. Hanging back, he watched many of his fellow herdmates disappear behind the thick trees and bushes. His ears flicked back, searching for any signs of any others stragglers - especially kids and elders. Though he knew many of them would be with their mothers and families... he also knew that Zi couldn't possibly be the only negligent one toward blood. And if no one else was there to keep an eye out... well, Sec would be that one.
A soft rustle behind him made him turn and look around. "Anyone out here?"
((henna, that's a call-out for you. ^^; Sec's willing to help Keete out, if you like.))
Raj trotted near the middle of the pack, his head held high. Though he was sad about leaving his home, he'd gotten over it, his insatiable curiosity and need to learn bubbling forth. Happily, as he passed a flowering bush, he bit off a flower, holding it in his mouth as he continued to walk. It'd make a very nice treat on the road, after all, and shame on him if he ever though about goin anywhere on an empty stomach!

Flip - The ram glanced around the herd for a moment, checking on Saturn with a flicker of worry. The little doe was still beside China and the taller more forceful female was clearly keeping the tired doe going. Satisfied that Saturn was safe while with China and the two were alright he turned his attention back to his companions. Penny still walked with him and he gave a small smile at her words 'It does seem so. I'm pleased to be able to offer some comfort. Though she seems to become more nervous with each step' he finished with a concerned glance down at Clare. Thoughtful for a moment he eyed Penny with a mix of curious concern. Feeling a slight edge of guilt that he hadn't thought much of the doe's feeling such was his determination to protect Clare he turned to her once again 'I feel I've rather neglected to make sure your alright Penny. How are you holding up?' He asked warmly keen to make sure she was alright and to help if not. Sensing Clare's worry as she shuffled beside him and plunged her nose to his shoulder he tilted his head down to hers, his soft grey muzzle brushing the top of her head as he blew a gentle breath across her coat. The journey was difficult for her and Flip worried about how she was coping, not just mentally but with the physical strain as well. 'i hope we reach our new home soon' he muttered to Penny quietly.
Fig- Fig couldn't help but giggle as Emora bounced around, she was a great travelling companion and he felt like their playful attitudes were well suited or friendship. Like Razzy who he knew well and raced with this doe was a lot of fun. Giving in to temptation he ran a bounding lap around her enjoying the feel of muscles working together to propel him across the ground. They had been walking so long it was nice go stretch a bit. Smiling at his friend he noticed the approaching doe, his heart fluttered a little and he swallowed his shyness as she reached them. As she spoke he fought back a blush and puffed his chest out. Fig knew hr was a strong ram and was proud of it. Giving her a smile that was half smirk half grin he lowered his head slightly and replied 'Well hello, nice of you to say so' flicking his mane back in what he hoped was a confident but not too cocky manner he met her gaze 'The names Fig, and what shall I call you pretty one?'
Razzy - Having walked along mostly in silence for the journey due to her over active thoughts Razzy Snapped out of her silent thoughts as they moved further away from home, she could no longer easily detect the acrid smoke and felt a little reassured by that. Some of the goennecs seemed to be tiring as they moved on, Razzy flexed the muscles along her sides and back detecting a mild stiffness but nothing more. It seemed the endless playing and exploring she did had its uses. Prancing up alongside Moss she glanced up at the big ram and cleared her throat before speaking, her ears flicking back and forth 'Moss, please excuse the interruption' she said with a small smile 'i was just curious and thought I would see where your thoughts lay. We seem to be heading a decent amount of distance from the smoke, how much longer do you think we'll be walking?' She tilted her head curiously, aware Moss wouldnt be able to tell her exactly when they would stop she nevertheless wanted his opinion. Plus she felt a bit adrift having been silent so long and knew the best way to ease the feeling was to talk.

Emora smiled at Fig before realizing Liwa was their too, she flattened her ears in annoyance. Fig was traveling with her not Liwa. " What do you want Liwa " She said with a frown flicking her tail anxiously. Her joy faded from her cold eyes, into a icy glare. She scraped her hooves against the pebbles, obviously unhappy with this situation. Emora herself, was surprised by her quick outburst about Fig, and quickly backed off and quieted down, slowly walking with the rest of the crowd.
Liwa taken aback by the doe's sudden cruelness, she stepped back. Her ears flattened as well. " Why, hello Fig. I'm Liwa, pleased to meet you " She replied, her tail twitching as she glared back at Emora. She raised her ears, and hoped to look more weak someone needing protection. She was still curious though, Emora never seemed like a type to be.. mean. Realizing she was backing away, and leaving the two Liwa smirked. " Will you walk with me " She asked him. Flicking her stubby tail, she looked around as the others passed, Emora was advancing farther away, obviously looking for someone to talk to.

She murmured with a frown, gazing down at her hooves as she walked. Her bobbed tail wiggled, and she looked up once he spoke again about reaching their new home soon. "Yeah, me too." She said softly, thinking for a few moments. "I dont think it will come quickly, though. I have a feeling we'll be traveling for a while. A wandering herd, you could say. I bet it wont be too long, but we have a while." After thinking about it, Penny and the rest of the hred had a lot to take in. This 'fire' was raging through the forest, eating up everything. Because of that, the whole herd had to leave and travel around to find somewhere else to live. But then you have the Siv comming up, exciting, good news. It gave Penny a bunch of different emotions, but she shook them off for now. [/ul]

Keete paused. He was left, in the middle of a foreign wood. Deaf. And alone. Without his hearing, his directional skills were nearly useless.
He glanced around, looking for some indicator of the herd. Impatient, and irritated with his own foul luck, he stamped the ground. Remembering the ground as his key focal point, he placed his front paws gently on the hard-packed soil, feeling, 'listening', for vibrations. The vibrations were so sparse, he wasn't sure if he had actually felt them, or if he had made them up. There were no markers to symbolize that the herd had gone this way, no hoovemarks or pawprints, no lagging herdmates. Except. That smell. It was oddly familiar, and not a harsh predator's scent.
"H-hello?"

It's been a little while, so I'll give us a little time-nudge~
It had been quite some time since he'd seen anything familiar, a couple days. Devarsi could swear he was going the right way, but everything had changed so much since his predecessor had taken him out here, everything had changed so much. Even the undergrowth looked different. The old Prime's hope was to give Devi an advantage if something like this ever came up and the small group he'd gathered to help had taken him far, dedicating many days to his preparation. He was grateful for what little he did remember, but frustrated at himself for living for so long in his assumed safety. He should have known better.
He looked back at the smoke. By now it had certainly ravaged their old home, though luckily, it seemed to have fizzled. They had made excellent time, even with their fairly slow, and had put quite a lot of distance between them and it, but it would be quite some time before the valley would be fit to support even a small herd, let alone his unusually large one. The size of it had always comforted him, but he could clearly see why large herds where so uncommon in the mountains. It was so difficult to keep track of everyone and accommodate the number of young and elderly. He knew he was lucky to have not lost anyone yet.
Sighing heavily, he forced himself to go back to focusing on where he was going. The terrain had been transforming slowly from wooded to rocky. Trees where much farther apart, the grasses grew tough, and the footing was becoming more like dodging rocks than walking. Suddenly, he saw a familiar rock formation. Yes! Shelter was close. He'd be able to give them a well-deserved rest for a few days.
"Just a little farther!" He yelled back, eager to get there himself.
As he crested what looked like a small hill, the ground dropped away, revealing a sizable, and fairly deep, indent in the mountain. The little dip was small compared to their valley. It might feel a bit cramped, but it was smoothly coated in lush grasses, sporting a pretty little pond fed by a small spring spouting from about halfway up the cliffs on one side. There where only a few stunted trees, but he was unconcerned. The steep walls encircling the little paradise provided shade throughout most of the day and would keep out predators.
"Come on now, everyone. Just one more short climb and you can have all the grass and water you can hold."
He wanted to race down the cliff, roll in the grass, and stretch out in the warm sun, but he stood and waited, knowing he should wait and offer help to those who might need it. Not to mention, this would be an excellent time to make sure everyone was accounted for. So he stood at the edge and puffed out his chest, proud to have succeeded in finding them such a nice little oasis.

[/ul] She murmured happily, getting ready to bound ahead. However, she stopped and turned back, pinkish eyes quickly scanning the area. Henna wanted to be a good example, and she would feel stupid if she just headed down that hill like a child. So she slightly turned and tried to pick out any elder Goennec, or one that was a bit nervous. Henna wanted to help someone out and make them feel as safe as she could. Bobbed tail flicking once more, Henna decided that she wouldn't be the first one going down. She'd wait until she could find a partner to go down with. [/ul]

-Sihir-
The first few days of exploring had been the most fun Sihir had experienced in her young life. Even Ander, who was so constantly a stick in the mud and the law abiding little ram he so desperately strived to be had turned into a bundle of fun and had agreed to running around as the herd moved from their home. By now, however, the fun was long gone. There was no happiness in Sihir's stride, and despite her attempt to look strong and not worry her mother she was starting to feel the aching in her muscles, the grumbling of her belly, and the grogginess that came with lack of rest. Crankiness was taking over her, but she didn't dare complain. She would not be the first one to break, she would not say a word. If Ander could bear the journey, so could she.
Then, the most wonderful words she had heard in the past few days rang in her ears. All the grass and water she could hold?
"Last one to the bottom is a smelly bear's tail!" came the rambunctious cry of the green furred kid, rearing up in happiness. Her magenta eyes gleaming with joy, Sihir took off, laughter ringing through the air as she did so, not looking behind her to see if there was anyone close by, the thought of food and water completely engulfing her mind.

Emora walked up next to Devarsi, seeing the indented little area she smiled. The grass looked tasty, as well as having a nice drink would be nice too. I'd be a nice place, temporary or not, her legs ached anyway and she needed some rest. The wind ruffled her fur, it was slightly chilly, but smelled like fresh grass, looking back she saw the smoke she frowned. Their old place was probably burnt now, hopefully the fire doesn't spread very far.
Flicking her tail, she walked down the small hill, and lay down on her side. She yawned, and waited for any important announcements before sleeping. She didn't want to miss anything.
Jay smiled, walking up the crest she looked around it appeared no one needed help, at least so far. She waited to see if anyone needed help, she knew Devarsi would most likely take care of it but she wanted to be there just in case. Flicking her ear, she walked higher up to see the herd, it was large. Curiously, she looked around for her mother, seeing her, she appeared to be alright which put down a lot of Jay's worries. Sniffing, she turned around and walked down the hill, and to the small pond. Taking a quick drink, she sat down and looked up at Devarsi waiting for announcement or anything of that kind.

Claire stood at the crest beside her new companions, eagerly breathing in the scents of plentiful, healthy grass and water. It smelled almost like the place they had come from, and the tired doe was very keen on going there now. Curious as to why Penny had stopped, the golden doe flicked an ear and took a step forward, only to jump back with a little bleat when she realized that the ground didn't quite stay level. She cocked her head to the side and turned to Penny with a nervous flick of her tail. Hopefully the other doe could shed some light on their situation.

But there was hope in there Prides eyes. Hope gave them something to hold onto, something to grasp and to believe in. Rafiki let out a short sigh and shot his best friend, his closest companion a faintly amused look. "Brother, lets hope this is somewhere we can settle? Yeah?" he said warmly. Rafe snorted and replied in a faintly amused tone. "Well Prime-ey up there seems hopeful. Thats always a bonus" he grinned as he said it thinking of the lush grass that could wait above the hill.

Devi grinned, seeing Sihir, his strange yet miraculous daughter, running gleefully through their new campsite.
"Someone's happy to take a break" he laughed to himself. Looking around, he could see most everyone seemed grateful for the pause in their travels, the exception being Clare, who stood with her traveling companion. She seemed confused and frustrated. He considered stepping in to help, but decided against it. Penny would be able to handle her. Instead, he resumed his post, standing at the ready.
Through the crowd, he could see White Dallas, standing at the edge, staring straight down the short cliff edge. Knowing she was an affected, worry sprang up in his chest, but before he could do anything, she took an odd leap, causing his heart to jump into his throat.
"Eeeee~!" Dallas let out a gleeful shout as she jumped, feeling herself falling for a moment before her feet made contact with the small ledge she was aiming for. Grinning as she landed almost perfectly on it, only her odd toes hanging over the edge. In truth, the ledge was much closer than her jump had made it seem, barely a foot below the lip of the cliff. Never the less, she was visibly proud of herself for achieving the feat.
She continued her exaggerated leaping down a few more feet, until she was a little more than halfway there. Suddenly, she lost her footing, causing her to half jump, half fall the rest of the way. Luckily, she kept her feet beneath her most of the way, where she landed half on her hooves, half on her butt.
She sat for a second, processing it, then smiled, feeling that her descent was a success, stood, and pranced happily off towards the spring. She was dirt from her 'climb', her white fur needed a good washing!
Devi grimaced as he watched Dallas take her tumble, but before he could call down to make sure she was alright, she'd stood up and jogged away like it was nothing. He shook his head, the affected would never cease to surprise him.

She looked to her left to see fawn, the young geoy, seemed to be fairing alot better then her. Sunrise was next to her chatting away. She smiled and lifted her head more, they woul make it. She did missed her home though, and wonder when if ever they would be able to go back. Fawn looks at sunrise, smiling and asked her if she would go on ahead with her. Moses looked down at the new valley, smiling softly. He approved of the new space, and would certainly enjoy playing around and exploring with the little ones that were sure to come sooner or later. Settling down opposite Devarsi, he watched the opposite side of the herd as they filed through, his aging gaze counting the slightly blurry Goennecs' heads. "You sure did well, Devi," he said, his voice harboring his old accent but lacking the joking nature he'd become known for. No... he was being sincere today. "This is a fine piece of land. Are we sure it hasn't already been claimed?"[Heh.
